Hey all, I’m on the handsome collection on ps4 and after beating the story mode 5 times on 360 and now 3 tijmes on PS4 I just want to hit max level so I can start endgame stuff.
I’m using Maya so I can’t cheese raid bosses that easily, what’s the most efficient way of levelingbul? I’m 54 right now.
@xkriegor0376 pretty much has it, you could also farm Bunker, that isn’t bad. But i’d recommend maybe doing some of that mixed with story, so it doesn’t get too boring! Plus you’ll want the UVHM story done so you can access everything to farm
If you have trouble you can actually jump out of the arena, and if you stay close to the edge you can hit him but he can’t hit you. You have to wait for his red dot to be on the map and his name to appear before you jump out though, otherwise he won’t spawn until you jump back down. Just keep an eye out for the smaller ones, they can still hit you
I usually complete the main story, and tiny Tina’s dlc. (always nice to have grog nozzle to fall back on.) I’ll farm llms in the preserve, tubbies in the dust and badlands, and the snowman until 72. It’s probably not the fastest way to 72, but it’s the one that keeps me sane.
That is actually how I killed him the first time at level 52, with a 50 Bee and a 48 non elemental ladyfist. I still died a few times though and I you can’t exactly farm the ladyfist
I tend to do a mix of methods described already (Tinder, BNK3R, Arid Badlands/Saturn, barroom brawl, etc.) All good XP sources plus lots of loot to hopefully keep gear current as you move up. If your build or gear isn’t quite up to snuff Tinder can be cheesed pretty easily by tucking yourself in back by the elevator (his breath can still hit you but nothing else can.) Even when I get sick of farming Tinder I’ll still go back to get him 3 or 4 times periodically every 5 levels or so since the loot train carries all types of gear guaranteed and you’re almost bound to get a decent piece or two after a few kills.
The first couple characters I made to 72 pretty much happened while farming tubbies for the class mods they drop.
I also tend do all the DLCs (except Scarlett if I want a max level Sandhawk since you can’t avoid it) to grab all the XP available there and gain a few levels.
Oh yeah one more thing! If you farm BNK3R don’t forget about the red chest down below in the storage room that becomes accessible after you kill him. For the longest time in the old days, I totally missed it.
Are there any main story or main DLC missions besides the sand hawk one that I should wait to complete until 72 or should I just blaze through them all to have access to everything?

This lists the ones worth farming, so worth saving for later:
Gracias, I’ll just try and get through the story mode for the main game and DLCs 2-4 and see where I am by then.
It’s just annoying the amount of “trickery” that goes in to the quest reward stuff, campaign resets, bank space etc. I hope for borderlands 3 they look at how Diablo 3 handled the campaign (i.e. you can choose to select a single chapter inside a single act to go to, and also once you complete the campaign once you don’t have to do it again on future characters).
I love the series, have been playing since the release of the GOTY edition of 1, but there are a few tweaks that would make the experience much more user friendly imo.
Edit: also completely unrelated but I love the skill system and gameplayh mechanics of TPS but hearing the UVHM grind for that game is even worse along with not really having an endgame as much.
The Peak is a pretty source of XP too. The Warrior, Gettle & Mobley, Opportunity (those SBAs are pretty good for it), the first Wam Bam mission for infinite varkid pods.
