What’s the best grip for the Bladed Tattler? Part of me wants to assume that the matching grip would be the best, but there are times when having a matching grip is actually worse, so I figured I’d ask everybody here for their opinions on this one.

I suppose the only reasonable alternative would be Dahl or Hyperion for increased accuracy. These are the stats from the Gear Calc ( I used the Bone Shredder as the Tattler isn’t there ) :
Bandit grip
Maliwan grip
Dahl grip
Hyperion grip
The Hyperion increases accuracy by 10% but decreases damage by 5%. It could be argued that the increased accuracy leads to better DPS and offsets the damage decrease.
The Maliwan seems to increase accuracy and retain damage. This needs proper confirmation - I don’t recall ever seeing Maliwan grips improve accuracy.
However, the mag size is significantly reduced. From 86 to 64 ( Tattler’s mag size is very close to the Shredder’s ). Faced with a crippling reload speed and the fact that those 64 bullets can go by pretty damn quick, I’d say the Bandit grip is still the best for consistent DPS.
As a side note, reload speed is part of DPS, therefor all my permanent guns have matching grip ( except maybe Baby Makers : Bandit ).

Noted. I’ll stick to looking for matching grips then. I plan on using tattlers on my Gaige. Just need to get the fire/shock ones that I want. Already have corrosive.

And then there was one. I completely forgot that I already have a level 72 fire tattler sitting in the vault on my Gaige. Fortunately it has a bandit grip on it. I also have a non elemental tattler, but I doubt that it’ll see much use. Now all that’s left to find is a shock one, but with my luck it’ll be another month before I find one.
