Let’s say I’m in UVHM and I beat a boss /raid boss that gives a certain weapon I want. If I come back later, when I’m say 5 levels higher, will that boss scale up and continue to scale each time I go back? Or is it locked at the level I was when I beat it the first time?

Unless it’s a quest the loot should scale to your level in UVHM (quest rewards are locked at the level you accept the quest), +/- 2 levels until you hit level 72/OP8. So if you farm Bunker at level 61 for a Sham it should be level 59 thru 63. If you then return at level 72 the Sham should drop between levels 70-72…

Perfect…that’s what I wanted to know. I’m trying to get my head around the best way to go through UVHM without having to reset for anything. Just want to make sure I have a supply of gear to carry me through to level 72.

If not here then the BL2 Wiki should have a list with all farmable quests and the gear they reward- needless to say you’ll want to save the gear you really want for level 72.

Yeah, I remember someone telling me about doing the Scarlett DLC right up to the Sandhawk mission, then coming back for it at 72 (since slag is so important).

I always just farm new Harolds and fastballs as i go. Pick up the grog from the tiny tina dlc. Let rng fill in the rest. Every good quest reward is easily saved this way.
