Beside the shooting range, of coure. For which they did a better job in TPS. Including shielded and armored targets. Still not moving and not shooting at you so we need to test “real life” situation elsewhere.
For me it’s Frostburn Canyon. Some mobs variety. Possibility to snipe.
Depending on what I’m trying out I can start with the “FireHawk cave” or the area going to it. Usually I start the other way around with the little bandit village. If I feel like it I push it to Scorch. Which provide a bigger challenge yet not too difficult. For some more action I continue toward the stairs and Spycho. That bring me back to the cave entrance.
Pretty much the usual areas, but I must admit the first small bunch of bandits down from the exit gate from Liars’ Berg have died many many times to newly found items.
Frostburn is nice for aforementioned reasons, plus I like the atmosphere, plus the possibility of both LLMs and tubbies spawning which is always a nice bonus.
Of course Opportunity for Loaders… Or Washburn Refinery. But that one too we’ve seen a lot if you watch MoLMF “Does it suck” serie.
Which remind me the day my wife asked if I knew the place… Yes…!
But I prefer Opportunity. Less predictable and more “in your face”. Even thou I hate doing missions there!
Sawtooth Cauldron for testing against bandits, Caustic Caverns for testing against creatures, and Arid Nexus: Badlands for testing against robots.
The ultimate test of how well a corrosive gun performs is seeing how much it can chunk Saturn, of course.
I go to Lynchwood to test sniper rifles. I like going there just for fun. Maybe with a new gun but only if I know it will perform or I already tested it.
Dukino’s mom is something I’ve almost never done. That’s on my bucket list. You’re right. Good one to test DPS.
To my defence I’ve been leveling up characters. Mostly. And I don’t remember exactly what she drop but never was on my “must have” list.
As I said. She’s on my bucket list. Something I’ll have to practice.
