Farming Kyros' Power Hybrid

Just wanted to know what kind of grind I should be expecting for farming this weapon. Are we talking 2-10 hours on average?

it’s random. RNG will determine how long you’re at it. I still don’t have that hybrid. Good luck.

if you’re asking me, I’ve tried for several days before moving on to something else. I want all hybrids, but that is a chore in itself.

Someone can get it on their first run, and other never. Sort of like the Wee Wee Super Booster that refuses to drop at 68 max stat. That has been years i’ve been trying…I always come back to it. it will happen eventually. But I’ll do a run of about 2-3 hours before moving on to something else. And I’ll do this on consecutive days. my free time determines how long I can farm for something.

Weekends I can put in close to 6-8 hours of straight farming before my house starts to wake up. lol

Yeah, asked you to give OP at least a semblance on how long some people have tried themselves. To get a picture themselves.

I’ve been meaning to add it to a daily wake-up routine or something “each morning, kill X enemy Y times”
I mean. Haven’t started doing that yet.

I used to do that with Craw back before BL2 was released. It would take me roughly 3-5 minutes to kill Craw and hope for a Pearl. I’d do a morning kill before work everyday. if I woke early, I’d attempt several, but at least 1 attempt every day. did that for a while. maybe a year or so. now with 3 installments, my time is spread about more and I can’t concentrate on just farming for pearls or hybrids anymore. My time isn’t as free as it used to be.

Kyros Power is best single shot explosive sniper in game, so I instead farmed for perfect parts of it.

I have spent hundreds of hours, making runs including Motorhead and Typhoon.

But late during that process unintentionally I did find… Perfect Kyros Power, with Cyclops scope no less. But right now I’m on mobile phone, so you’ll have to look for it in my post history to see it. I’ll be back home after ~12 hours, then I’ll edit this post with picture.

Thanks to everyone who replied, but I ended up just taking the best version I could get within that one session I had, as I had gotten bored farming Kyros. But on a side note, I did get the Ajax Ogre on my second run to the Armory. I’ll post a picture up later, as someone is using the PS3 at the moment.
