Alright, I’m sure this has been done or made before but I was just wondering what non Red - Text weapons you guys have seen out there that really stand out from either being fun, excelling in combat practice or both. It’s always fun to see and experiment with new weapons.
Some examples: Dahl Minigun, Umbrage, Injector, Jakobs Gatling gun

I’m partial to some of the Maliwan, Vladof and Jakob’s snipers, along with Maliwan SMGs. Which ones depends a little bit on circumstances and who I’m playing. Options include the Snider, Droog, Trance, and Grace.
Great picks! Droog is one of my favorite guns in the game along with the Snider. The Grace is also pretty good as well. Another weapon I feel worth mentioning is a Tediore Quickshot with the Bandit Grip for the reload damage. Works better in TPS but still very effective in BL2
Depending on the charakter you playing I was always a fan of Jakobs quads and couch guns, vladof anarchist, e-tech smgs and vladof rocket launchers. Look out for them for a more than solid weapon for each mode walkthroughs.
Try a Bandit Splatgun… not too close!
With UCP/OP buffs, try a Railgun (snipe those pests in Aegris through their masks!).
I have a fondness for purple-rarity, triple-barreled Tediore shotguns.

Slag E-Tech darts let sniper Zer0 apply slag without drawing aggro, allowing him to kill enemies undetected.
PBFG’s and Topneaa’s are high on some people’s lists.
I’ve recently been playing with a Dahl Magnum… not sure if I’m sold yet, but I definitely love their Negotiators (Vladof barrel).
Oh yeah. I love my Topneaa’s. I never thought of using a Dart past NVHM but I’ll give it a shot
Darts: I’m surprised how well they hold up in UVHM (though everyone’s mileage may vary). Spikers I don’t find hold up well, so I prop them up myself.
Gaige can use them with a fair amount of Anarchy, since they’ll still home in on an enemy despite the accuracy loss, and you don’t eat half your damage bouncing them off walls to connect.
Zer0: get some proper sniping distance between you and the target(s). Fire a few shots from the (slag) Dart and immediately go into Decepti0n. If the Dart hits and pops on a non-aggro enemy, they will remain non-aggro but will still be slagged, and now you have an easy shot. If you kill the target in one shot, the other enemies shouldn’t go aggro. Rinse and repeat.
Some Bandit SMGs are also worth using from what I have found. I can’t say the same of most Bandit ARs tho
This is a topic that comes up from time to time, but it’s always fun to think about. I’ll choose one of each weapon type with each manufacturer ( some will be absent like Torgue ARs ) :

I just love the Maliwan guns! I use their Sniders (Maliwan barrel) and Plasma Casters as my standard setup normally, and I’m a huge fan of the PBFG’s. Massive damage in one shot. A bit ammo inefficient, though. Pity they don’t make shotguns too. When it comes to shotguns, you can never go wrong with a Ravager for close encounters.
Best part about these guns is that they’ll be good no matter the rarity. Well, the E-tech guns will always be E-tech rarity, but you all know what I mean. 
I never cared much for Tediore guns, though. Some of them are really good, I suppose, but I have a bit of OCD when it comes to reloading my gun, so I don’t like them for that reason.
Just about any plasma castor I find useful,and Vladof Anarchists are some of my favorite pistols to use. Also, Torgue shotguns and Jakobs snipers…
I find the Synergy range of Hyperion pistols are very aesthetically pleasing. Nothing special about them but the reverse recoil makes them easy to use and that rotating Vladof barrel is just fun to watch! 
An assault rifle with the spingun barrel, sans maybe bandit, are fun and some brands, torgue/dahl, are great,
Pretty much any shotgun

Most of my standard go-tos have already been mentioned. A good Dahl Minigun, or a Maliwan Umbrage are always really fun to use. Then you’ve got Sniders and Pooshkas and Droogs (oh my) for your sniper rifles. Muckamucks and Callipeens are really fun to use in NVHM/TVHM as you level up. Plasma Casters and Topneaas are also really nice finds.
Jakobs shotguns in all varieties can be really fun, and I like the larger-barreled Hyperion shotguns (Crowd Sourcing and Development) for bigger baddies.
IMO, it’s hard to go wrong with any decent-spec Thinking shotgun or most coach guns, and plasma casters are almost too good a lot of the time.

Seriously, though. That’s pretty much my non-red text repertoire thus far, except for my Tediore plasma casters. Mmmmm…reloads. 
I honestly haven’t ever used Carbine’s. Are they worth it? I always just go for a Dahl Minigun. There are quite a few non red text weapons worth using. I do hope E techs return in BL3, but some of them buffed. E tech ARs aren’t the greatest but Plasma Casters are amazing
