I affectionately call his build “Part-Time Police Auxiliary”, because I think it’s relatively close to the Brawn version of the Deputy build. Basically, he rocks an off-hand shotgun (Striker when he expects surveyors, Blue Quad or Purple Coach for things that run around) with a Grog Nozzle in one pair and a slag Rubi with his Harold in the other. He’s currently wearing a Legendary Berserker com, a Blood of the ancients for pistol and shotgun ammo, a 72 Neogenator, and packing a ×2 magic missile. He unlocked OP1 and OP2 easily enough, but was stopped three times on the way to OP3. He has a purple Chaotic Good Monk com that he is considering trying on his next attempt. Any thoughts?
Funny thing happened on my way to the Peak. I got a Triquetra at 72 thinking I wouldn’t be trying the peak, because why would I torture myself? I was mostly using the Striker for surveyors and it was working at a pretty handy distance, would I need to close the gap a little more to hit them with my coach gun? I’ll definitely grab a Rough Rider to try that out (Kriegtopher needs a new one anyway, I’ll just grab a second while I’m there), and I’ll update the Neo while I’m at it, just in case I prefer that. I have a lobbed slag singularity, is that good or would a different element/delivery be more advantageous? And I still have the Lynchwood quests open, so I’ll grab that too. I’m gonna try one more time, and then, win or lose, I’m gonna start tinkering.

@DeputyChuck, I didn’t think I rated that much of a rescue.
Actually, it’s already been vendored. It didn’t help me keep enough distance for my liking. I decided to farm for a new neogenator and a Rough Rider now to compare the two before I hit the peak again. I’ll let y’all know how that goes when it happens, but it looks like RNGsus is gonna make me wait a while. Good things come to those who wait, praise RNGsus . Thank you.

Salvester caught OP3 this morning. He only shifted 1 skill point, so now his Pandora Academic Record reads thusly:
He put on a Neutral Good Monk Com with +5 Moneyshot, +4 Sexy Rexy, and +3 Asbestos. He got updated shields from Kriegtopher (RR) and Maytastrophe (Neogenator), and put on the Neogenator. And he borrowed Kriegtopher’s Level 70 Storm Front for extended engagements. Stayed with the pair one Rubi+Harold and pair two Purple Coach+Grog. I love it when a plan comes together. Thank you @Jefe, @Piemanlee, and last but not least @DeputyChuck for your input. I suspect I will be issuing these thanks and many others 5 more times, but I don’t really mind repeating myself.

Here we go again. Took Salvester to meet the OP4 unlock today. It felt easy, too easy. No, really. He traipsed along, flattening what came at him with an OP1 purple Huntin’ coach gun/Grog and Harold/Rubi poking Constructors right in their beady little eyes. And then the Assassins arena. I guess I just didn’t kill Reeth McBurny fast enough, because FFYL looking at him. Switched to the old Harold Rubi and came within millimeters of coming back before the timer ran dry. Feels like a pacing/operator error problem to me. So, I’ll go back at it tomorrow. Practice practice practice, and that Moneyshot Minuet will be perfect before I know it.

Thank you for the pep talk @DeputyChuck, it feels good to know I’m on the right track.
Took another stab at it. Again, it almost felt easy on the run up to the Assassins. Still operator error with possible pacing concerns, but improving. This time I packed a corrosive cloud grenade for healing purposes and spanked Reeth with the swiftness. However, playing tag with Routh while running from Oney didn’t go so well. I think I want to try again with Storm Fronts for healing instead. I think that might turn the tide in my favor with the better AOE coverage.

I took the first Storm Front I got, which was rubberized. Oh well, back at it. Double Your Fun+rubberized Storm Fronts= interesting dodging routine. It worked though, and I stepped onto the back half of the peak for the first time. Still not quite successful, the next to last area showed me that I was too eager by slapping me with Centurions. I feel like if I can get that spawn behind me I’ll be good. I’ll take another shot at it tomorrow.
