My Favourite Solo OP8 Maya Build

This build is for raw damage and is best used solo

http://bl2skills.com/siren.html#055001555050050000005504510551

No specific gear needed but I recommend the following.

GUNS
Consummate Florentine
Consummate Plasma Caster(fire)
Rightsizing B*tch
grog(for healing)
Avenger(alternative to grog, mainly for SMG ammo regen)

SHIELDS
Cracked Sash(for casual things like LLM runs)
Hide of Terra(for most boss fights)
Blockade(alternative to hide, I prefer hide though)

CLASS MOD
Legendary Cat(because it boosts all Maya’s gun based DPS skills and SMG damage)

RELICS
Stockpile: SMG(for more drawn out fights)
Bone of the Ancients: corrosive(for increases to all of Maya’s corrosive skills)

GRENADES
Pandemic(if you are running the corrosive relic or are fighting armoured enemies)
Storm Front(for boss shield damage)
Fire bee(for bosses such as hyperius)
Quasar or singularity(this build does best when enemies are close to each other)

Feedback is welcome

What is Axton-specific about this build/loadout?

everyone works well with a Maya around.

Axton does particularly well with explosives and this build makes Maya a walking singularity which means Axton can explode the hell out of the clusters she creates

If I was going to play a Siren with a Commando on my team (nobody else), I’d use this: http://bl2skills.com/siren.html#545001055125525100510505410000

Sweet Release will help heal Axton (and in theory his turrets, although I’m not sure I’ve actually seen this work in the field… been a long time since I studied that).

Restoration will let you manually heal both Axton and his turrets by shooting at them. I’ve tanked Axton’s turrets through a fair amount of damage by laying into them with a SMG and a bunch of points in Restoration. As you’ve listed the Florentine, it should also apply slag to any local enemies trying to melee the turret while also healing it.

Elated… does this heal the turret? It’ll help Axton for sure, but if it also applies to the turret, I might consider a non-Thoughtlock build.

Res because co op.

Thoughtlock with Sub Sequence and Converge - Axton’s turret can keep track dog pile of enemies falling all over each other with this build, and the splash from his rockets, grenades, or whatever will hit more than one enemy at a time. If this isn’t your thing, Phaselock should also be fine.

I’d probably go with a Legendary Binder COM to share the cooldown lovin’ with Axton (and I love me some Sustenance with the Thoughtlock build).

Not sure about elated healing the turret would be cool though and ye like I said this is mainly a solo build. Does great against everything because of the crazy amounts of elemental damage and I mainly play solo so I never use support skills

I like this build. Im to tired with Bee shield and Sandhawk so this is something new to me. Im wondering How to deal with armored enemies. I dont see any corrosive weapon in the recommended weapons. Is mayas corrosive abilities enough to deal with armored enemies. Should the weapon B*tch be used instead of a corrosive weapons?

Thanks for the build!

Sorry for the slow reply, been extra busy lol and honestly I just let all the elemental damage do the work. Florentine will slag armoured enemies and that makes them vulnerable enough to be killed with just about any element. Basically slag is op! Lmao
