Why can't I pick up Excali-Bastard?

i know it requires a set amount of badass point. my character I tried to grab it with has I I believe 4k BA point and everything I read says you need to have at least 2500.btw I play on the 360

Is this the first time you’ve ever tried to pick it up? It’s only once per character save across all play-throughs, so if you’d picked it up in NVHM the same save character can’t pick it up in TVHM or UVHM.

yeah I’m 99% sure it’s not been picked up. it no biggie I was just wondering if there was a known glitch or something. it wouldn’t be a super big issue to grind out a new Wilhelm for me

I’m not aware of any glitch with this. Maybe double-check your BAR total - that can get glitched on occasion.
