This is a grenade and explosive build meant for OP8 and lvl 72 mobbing.

Weapons
Slot 1: Slag Kitten
This is what you will use to slag all enemy targets before throwing a grenade at them. I have tested other weapons as well(including the grog and rubi) but the kitten works the best.
Slot 2: Casual Swordsplosion
You will use this to kill enemies if you are out of grenades/Against a mini boss. I have tested the swordsplosion. It is the most powerful explosive shotgun in the game therefore synchronizes perfectly with an explosion krieg. Make sure you get the Casual Prefix. You get this from doing the Side Quest “The Sword in the Stoner” From Roland in Tiny Tina’s DLC.
Slot 3: Miss Moxxi’s Creamer
This is an explosive moxxi rocket launcher. Works perfectly for second winds. You can get this from doing 5 rounds in the creature slaughter dome. If you can’t get a Creamer, then just use any other explosive rocket launcher for second winds.
(You can Swap this with a Slag Rapier which you can use to prock Fuel the Blood for huge amounts of extra grenade dmg. Just use your Dp Harold in FFYL then.(Thank you Wingsday and Fyx)
Slot 4: Double Penetrating Unkempt Harold
Best pistol in game. It is explosive. Does anything else need to be said?
Shield:
Rough Rider
If you cannot get a rough rider…well then use a Blockade for the damage reduction. But do everything you can to get a rough rider. It goes perfectly with the build.
Mod:
Flesh Crunch(+6 Strip the Flesh, +5 Blood Trance, +Explosive Damage)
And make sure it is a blue version otherwise you don’t get the full +6 into Strip the Flesh. Try and get this mod to be op8. The explosive damage is vital. You can get one version that is +6 Strip the Flesh and +5 Taste of Blood + Explosive Damage. It works just as well.(Thank you Fyx)
Grenade Mod:
Explosive Fastball.
Cannot be anything else. If you group enemies together, slag 1 of them, hit him with the fastball, then all the others will be decimated by the bloodsplosion. You can get huge bloodsplosion chains with it. No other mod will work. The Bonus Package/Meteor Shower do a little damage but it is nothing compared to the fastball.

+39% explosive damage at OP8.(Thank you Blutfatal)
Battle Strategy
-Start always holding your slag kitten. Slag an enemy with it, nail them with your explosive fastball, watch nearby enemies get decimated by the bloodsplosion, walk over their dead bodies and grab the grenades they dropped, rince and repeat.
-If you are against a mini boss(such as wilhelm) your grenades will not do enough damage to kill them. Slag them with your kitten(Unless they are unslaggable like a constructor), pull out your Casual Swordsplosion/DP Harold and just keep shooting them with it until they are dead.
-Thrill of the Kill and your Kitten will keep you alive as long as you keep using your fastballs to kill stuff.
-Be Careful using your swordsplosion in Fight For Your Life. You may get up with it and then go right back down because of the extra projectiles.
-FYI, This build is extremely fun.
