Hyperius being greedy

I’ve been farming hyperius the invincible in uvhm for two days and every time he drops crystals, one pink weapon and trash. No legendary and no norfleet. What’s going on? Its like there’s no orange weapons in his drop pool for me

Yeah but I’ve had yet to see an orange that’s not very motivating… The pink weapon is like 100% drop rate I’m just begging to see something different at this point. I’ve begun selling those for ammo

two days?! how many runs per day? try putting in about 100 kills, I’d guess you’ll get some oranges in there. Norfleets are rare, so good luck. But I"ve had quite a few from him, so just keep at it. You’ll get some Legendaries. Keep in mind they scatter, so you may have a hornet, or a shredifier laying around and they tend to blend with the terrain in that arena, imo. sometimes I’m running out to sell stuff and run right over a legendary. :wink:

When you say pink, do you mean seraph or e-tech? If the former, those are in the same pool as the orange goodies and it’s random which you’ll get should the game’s RNG decide you get an item from that pool. Unfortunately you get runs like that; the best thing to do under such circumstances is go farm something else, or finish up side quests or challenges, or just go mobbing with different weapon combos. Anything, really, for a change of pace.

I disagree if you want what you’re looking for. Keep at it. Tenacity is key when it comes to farming good gear. :acmaffirmative:

OK, but put a leash on your controller so you don’t throw it at the screen!

Back on point: I’ve found it helpful to keep track of the actual number of attempts when I’m farming for something. I have noticed that if I don’t, I chronically over-estimate how many runs I’ve actually made, and that just adds to my frustration level. If I can see that instead of 30 runs I only did 10, then I can calm myself down.

yah, I’m guilty of that. What I do is time a run. Then, I look at the clock and I start farming. for about a couple hours I can determine how many runs(approx) I’ve done in that span of time.

hiding behind that pillar protects you from his nova blast. I know you don’t have a norfleet so disregard the weapon. it’s more of the strategy of hiding behind the pillar so you have a bit of protection which will help keep your Bee shield up. I would definitely recommend using an incendiary sandhawk for this fight. :wink:

The evolution shield and tattler smg are pretty good items. Going only for a norgleet and ignoring everything else will drive you crazy

All he drops are those. Every time he drops one of those and some times a shotgun. I HAVNT EVEN GOTTEN A LEGENDARY

No lol I want the norfleet but he hasnt even dropped a single legendary

You have more patience than me, all of my Norfleets have come from trading. A Badaboom works nearly as well in most situations and is a much easier farm.
