Minimum level (nvhm) full party vs Terra?

I’m curious about this and would like to form a party just for the challenge and lols but first, I’d like to know what you think is the level of the party members for this clash

Maybe a level which can take Terra out in 30min max. You finish nvhm (with all side quests done) at level 28-35 right? Anyone tried it on that level? I tried it during PS3 days and whole party got annihalated XD (but Terra hasn’t been exposed that much before unlike now we have decent strats, clear list of preferred loadouts etc)

Edit: I don’t think you can Harold/rubi swap and healthgate. Not sure if you use grog though. If it still doesn’t, this might be impossibru

Not really expecting an accurate answer so just post your thoughts XD and if anyone on steam wanna try, I’ll be fre on Saturday 8pm manila time

Terra is always at level 50-ish in NVHM and TVHM. I tried Terra once when I was level 32. I used a BeeHawk and I didn’t even scratch the paint on him. Have fun, Guys! :laughing:

LOL!!! I just messaged someone about this maybe a month ago.

That was my “plan”, so I guess that answers that. I originally thought what if we have the full fire BeeHawk kit with a Chain Lightning and Grog, but then I realized we wouldn’t have very many skill points, no fire BoA, etc. (I was gonna go Zer0 and co-op with a Maya)

It’s hilarious that someone else thought of this.

I only tried it because I accidently picked up the mission, but it was a lost cause.:laughing: IIRC, I managed to get him down to 95 % health before I ran out of ammo.

I figured ammo would be one of the main issues.

Did a little more brainstorming though, some random thoughts:

You’ll almost certainly need to slag; Maya can get Ruin at lv. 31, but that would come at the expense of Res. So you’d have to not die, or perhaps have two Mayas: one that has Ruin, another that has Res.

Maybe have someone whose job is solely to slag? Do nothing but fire Slagga or slag Pimp shots the whole time.

It’s kinda cheating, but what if you did the Sandhawk swap to Lady Fist trick? Could be a good way to get some much needed damage.

Grog-Harolding Sal with a Hoarder mod?

It looks like Axton could have slag turrets at lv. 31 as well. They’ll probably get insta-killed the whole time, but that could be useful.

You’ll definetly do a lot more damage, that’s for sure, but I fear that it will not be enough in the end anyway. You also need to keep in mind that once Terra drops below 50 %, Reaper will no longer be active.

Perhaps Sal can manage it. There are a few options there, depending on how legit one wants to be.

But honestly… I think melee is the way to go if you’re going to pull this off. It will take forever, but at least you won’t run out of ammo. Two Zero’s would probably be the best option. One with Kunai and one with some melee boosts. Maybe our friend @StrikerZidane can pull it off. I’ve seen some really impressive melee stuff from him before.

Lvl 35 vs level 50 seems like the dmg reduction would be too much. Not saying it’s impossible since I would have thought the op8 peak with lvl 50 or 61 gears isn’t possible but I know better. Slag being less effective with lower elemental multipliers are probably a no-go. Lvl 50 with 15 unspent skill points and lvl 35 gear? Probably

Edit: thinking about it, maybe two hoarder Sals keeping Terra distracted and slagged with two sniper Zeros using CA and the bee could maybe put a dent in him- would take some incredible shooting though.

Yeah I was just tossing around ideas for a full 4p party. I have absolutely no idea how any of this would work when actually playing.

I want to try this solo now. Sadly I have no Vault Hunters at 35. My Gaige is level 9 on PS4, so I guess she could have a go once I get to the end of Normal with her? :thinking:

Since I know striker loves gaige :stuck_out_tongue: . 4 Gaiges with bee, fire fibber and max prestacked anarchy might work if they can stay alive

This sounds a lot of fun. My Axton is currently level 64, I plan to reach 72 in the next day or two, after that I will get to work on Gaige and set it up so she’s ready to go :slight_smile:

3 mechromancers with 400 stacks, a sham, and norfleets? With a maya specced into restoration using the infinity bee combo

Or max stack twisters with the element swap glitch?

  • You can B0re him with a dueling Krieg like Lex suggested.
  • Or an infinite Money Shot Fibber, with or without an infinite MS Infinity Sal to tank, or an Axton duel to get a constant NKLO bonus.
  • Depending on how fast Axton can throw infinite Gemini turrets, and if he can stay far enough away from the explosion, Javelinier Bloodsplosion Krieg is another powerful option.

Those are the best options I can think of ATM, but the bursty ones may not be enough, so the Infibber is probably the best since it has sustained DPS.

But with 30 minutes as the base line, a more balanced and fun 4 man raid could be possible.
