Are you one of those persons that know every little detail about Borderlands 2? Let’s put that to the test. Here are 10 questions for your amusement. Enjoy!

  1. What was the building in Sanctuary used for before it became the Crimson Raiders HQ. Answer: City Archives

  2. Where can you find Fillion’s Bed, Breakfast and Bullets?
    Answer: Liar’s Berg

  3. According to Tannis, she suffers from two types of paranoia. Which types are they?
    Answer: Extreme and Spastic. She tells us this when the missions “Hidden journals” and “Torture chairs” are accepted.

  4. What does the text on Doc Mercy’s shield say?
    Answer: Generally Hospital

  5. Tannis will appear riding on a fish in an easter egg in Sawtooth Cauldron if you shoot the barrels in a certain order. Name the order that you have to shoot them!
    Answer: Blue, Red, Green, Yellow and Purple

  6. The Slab King’s “throne” is decorateted with two types of loot from his enemies. Name them!
    Answer: Heads from Hyperion soldiers and Loader legs

  7. Why does Shorty have to die?
    Answer: He defaced one of Scooter’s Catcha-Rides

  8. Name the 7 midget rats that accompany Laney White!
    Answer: Bloody, Crabby, Creepy, Dirty, Greedy, Sleazy and Tipsy

  9. Who is CL4P-TP’s #1 fan according to the signed poster?
    Answer: Robbie

  10. What did Jimbo Hodunk say to Moxxi right before she left the Hodunk clan?
    Answer: Old Coot Jibberish
    Everything Jimbo says is classified as “Old coot jibberish”, but if you want to find out the hard way, all you need to do is tip Moxxi. And then she will tell you “old coot jibberish”

If you don’t know the answers, you can always go look for them. They’re all in plain sight!

I’ll take a stab at 9 and 10

I’m guessing 9 is CL4P-TP himself

In 10, I don’t know the specific quote if that’s the answer, but Ellie says during the side quest they wanted to make her the clan wife which is why Moxxi left, but again, maybe there’s a specific quote on this from Moxxi in Tales or her Headhunter or something.

3 is bugging me because I can hear some of that dialogue, but I normally ignore it as I’m completing that stupid side quest quickly…an unhealthy fear of…hmmm…

1 - City Archives - I never noticed this
2 - Southern Shelf where you meet Hammerlock
3a - In a fit of extreme paranoia, I hid my notes on the opening of the Vault.
3b - In a fit of spastic paranoia, I did not write down the locations to the information.
4 - Generally Hospital - for bonus points, it’s a location in Dr Ned’s DLC from BL1

6 - loader arms and Hyperion heads
7 - he defaced one of Scooter’s Catch-a-Rides… and he’s a crockblocker
8 - Dirty, Sleazy, Crabby, Bloody, Greedy, Creepy, Tipsy

10 - That reminds me of something Jimbo Hodunk told me right before me and the kids left his disgusting bandit clan forever. He said, ( gibberish). I’ll never forget that.

I’m pretty sure I know 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 off the top of my head.
I do not know 3, 4, 8, 9, 10 without playing.

It seems that some correct answers have been submitted from @Jefe and @nat_zero_six. Jefe has the top result so far with 7 points. Answers 6 and 10 are incorrect. Nat 06 has 3 points.

This is the reason why Moxxi left, but it’s not the last thing Jimbo said to her before she left.

All the answers can be found in the vanilla game.

Yeah, all of this is stuff that we see or hear all the time, but we don’t register it.

This Tannis one is killing me. I’m a big fan of hers, so to not know this is pretty vexing. I presume that is from a bit of dialogue from when you meet her or is attached to one of her missions?

I’m in the middle of a playthrough right now ( rescued Roland ) , so I should soon have access to the Hodunk dialogue and the Slag King throne before cutoff.

But Tannis…:thinking:

Yeah I run through the Torture Chairs and the Hidden Journals echo did not catch any, maybe its sociophobic or autistic. not sure.

I see that @Jefe now has had a closer look at the throne of the Slab King, and has revised his answer. I see them as heads from Hyperion soldiers, but I’m satisfied with your answer. Let me know if you need a hint on the Tannis and Moxxi questions.

I’m starting Clan Wars tonight ( I hope that’s a bit of dialogue from that mission ). A clue for Tannis would be most welcome.

These are manifestations of paranoid behaviour, but not exactly “types”. Best I can find though.

I think we are looking for Tannis to enumerate the types of paranoia she has but if you go back to the recordings there is none.

I think in the Hidden Journals the type of paranoia is social anxiety as seen on her nose bleeding when having conversation and dry-heaving into a bucket when someone says shes beautiful.

In the Torture chairs she exhibited delusional paranoia when she might imagining the ceiling chairs as persons (clork and philippe) and are talking to one another.

or is that a types of paranoia? what the heck is ceiling chairs anyways (googled it and all that pop up are hanging chairs)?

Correct! Though I’m not a “Real Doctor”, I’d definetly have to say that after studying Tannis closely, these are two of the types of paranoia that we see on Pandora.

She tells us this when you accept the missions.

Perhaps someone should “sit on you, and muffle your cries”. Bet you didn’t expect that one, heh! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Now, as for question #10… Has anyone asked Moxxi?

Absolutely! We have a winner! :grin:

This question is actually really easy if you think about it. Jimbo says a few things during Clan Wars, and they’re always: “Old Coot Jibberish!”

Anything Jimbo ever says will ALWAYS be old coot jibberish, but if you wanna do it the hard way, then you need to tip Moxxi, and hope that she says the right thing. :wink:

Sooo… Had enough, or what? :acmbarf: I have 10 more questions brewing. They will no longer be in NVHM mode. It’s time for TVHM. In this case, TVHM stands for The Vagueness Haunts Me. Just say the word, and I’ll get to it!
