LM’s and LLM

What does that mean? Sorry still learning. I’m use to play Destiny but that game is a little bit chaotic right now.

Jefe
Loot midgets and legendary loot midgets.

As everywhere , forum members liberally use acronyms - no need to apologize. I actually thought we should do a definition list of commonly used acronyms and abbreviations, but never got the energy to do it.

@Jefe

the above quoted discussion is from another thread, a new player had asked about good farm areas for gear, and I had said a good farm in some areas were LM’s and LLM’s and he asked whats that so Jefe hops in and spells it out and mentions a definition list.
So, I give Jefe full credit for this idea, but I’ll get the ball rolling by starting first

Following is a list that will be updated as new terms are posted

I seem to recall a similar thread from the old forums (which totally helped me out).

DPS is damage per second
DoT is damage over time
SMG is submachine gun
AR is assault rifle
ADS is aiming down the sight (zooming in with a weapon)
Dashboarding is exploiting the ability to have the game re-roll the parts for a mission reward by quitting after reviewing the outcome of the roll but before accepting it and triggering the automatic save.

These are going to be pretty random and in no particular order, but some of the others I find myself using:

MMF: Many Must Fall
CA: Critical Ascension
STC: Sawtooth Cauldron
WDT: Wires Don’t Talk
IO: Interspersed Outburst
HoT: Hide of Terra (or I’ll just say something like Grounded Hide)
UBA: Ultimate Badass
OOO/Triple O: Ohm Ohd Ook or whatever his name is, the dude that drops Twisters. lol
CC: Conference Call

Now I’m drawing blanks, I’ll add more if I think of em.

edit: of course I think of another as soon as I post

We’ve got competing threads! Who’s going to win?!

2 Likes

There it is! @Ronnie_Rayburn, there are a couple acronyms here that should be ported to your post.

After which, this thread should be locked?

2 Likes

L1’s was first. Ronnie’s is also a new thread.

2 Likes

This, but i’d rename this thread because ronnie’s has a better title

2 Likes

I agree and give Ronnie partial credit on the title?

Maybe just Put “BL 2"” in front of what I have?

Edit: Changed, Does it look better now?

I always leave words out and this change does make the thread specifically for BL 2.

@Ronnie_Rayburn
as @Jefe says “L1’s was first. Ronnie’s is also a new thread.” so should see what a Mod’s Opinion is. Never mind see Ronnie’s post a few down from here

Thanks, we both probably had the same Idea (again will give Jefe Credit for starting my idea) at the same time

fixed and changed a bit

I’m surprised no one has brought up the WTF shield.

the official definition for it is,
WTF = Whisky Tango Foxtrot

the unofficial definition is,

Sorry just not going to say it :rofl::joy::rofl:

That’s probably the one abbreviation that doesn’t need any explanation!
