my friend just recently start playing Gaige and I was wondering what way is it better to build Gaige ? is it better to go for a Anarchy build? or is it better to build around Death trap, he also has a LCM for both directions currently

As far as mobbing is concerned, both a DT build and an Anarchy build are viable and fun. If you’re looking to take down raid bosses, a DT build will be a lot more difficult to pull it off with than an Anarchy build.

I don’t personally see either as being “better”: you can build for anarchy (with or without DT), build for electrical mayhem (with or without DT), or any combination you like.
The real question is, how much does your friend want to rely on DT versus handle things themselves and only throw out DT in a tight fix? You’ll find several build guides listed in the Master Build collection that provide alternatives for with or without DT.

If you just started, it won’t really make a difference for quite a while - I’d recommend experimenting with the skills as you gain enough points to spread them out, and figure out which gels with your playstyle. If you’re talking about an end-game build, they both work fine (even a Little Big Trouble tree build works if you’re interested). If you’re min-maxing, Anarchy is hard to beat.

Master build collection. I’d suggest looking at the Shocking Anarchist or Shocking Bitch builds. The latter breaks it down to lower levels, which could help. I do things slightly differently from either, but it’s easy to slop some of Gaige’s skill points around like that.
