I’ve made topics like this before thinking it was the only anti-modder solution.etc I’m going to be bias, solely because I promote a more cleaner environment away from cheaters… given it’s not practical because it’d split the community and player base a bit more… I have high hopes for BL3 anyways. I think these features should at least be an option… it doesn’t cost that much to store the client’s data on a different server (not on your own computer).
I know it sounds stupid, but my concept is that you have two settings; local save servers and net save servers.
Local save servers would only allow users that are stored locally to be loaded… and net save servers would store player’s data else where and not allow local saves to be loaded.
I think this would honestly give an option for some people that can’t stand modded weaponry.etc it completely ruins the built in progression system and makes me personally feel detached from the story most of the time…
