Gunzerking reload issue

Hi all,

I’m currently levelling a Salvador through TVHM (my first zerker) and i’m running into a recurring issue…

Sometimes while gunzerking my guns won’t automatically reload when holding down the fire button when the mag empties. This seems to happen a bit more regularly on the offhand (Rubi) and it sometimes takes me a while to realise it’s stopped firing and is sitting at 0. I then have to manually reload, which of course reloads both guns whether they need to or not. To specify, this is while i still have remaining ammo for that gun.

Is this a known issue/bug? I’m hoping some Salvador aficionado’s can enlighten me. It’s getting to be quite irritating as obviously i’m relying on constant damage output to heal and survive and keep ‘keep firing’ going.

It’s a pretty well known bug. Usually it only happens when Inconceivable procs, and you release the trigger while you have zero in the mag. I think that’s how I remember it working.

And from what I’ve heard, Keep Firing stays active even if you manually reload, so long as you never let go of the fire buttons.

Thanks guys, that makes sense! Thanks for the link as well Jefe, i thought it would be on the forum somewhere but my search-fu is weak.

I’m still getting into playing Sal - he has a particular ‘rhythm’ and clearly i need to be holding the fire buttons non-stop or hitting reload whenever i’m not.

Yup, Sal is more of a “general flow” playstyle rather than a “punctual execution” playstyle :slight_smile:

I’m starting to realise that, though currently i’m the one getting executed frequently!

Also, i watched Derch’s salvador guide featuring yourself the other day to familiarise myself - it was excellent info and i got through all 2 hours and 55 minutes - i’m expecting my medal in the post!

Since it’s been brought up (O/T’ish warning)…‘that marathon’ also helped me sort out how Sal works as well. Belated thanks for all of it!

And where did Derch disappear to…I miss his work also.
