Hey folks, I’m a newbie and also a Kraut. So, sorry for the following not so well English
I’m Level 55 and I want to know, at which point the ememies come up to my level… Let’s say, I try to farm the black queen and of course I want the loot up on my level. But the enemies at the dust have only level 35 or so. That’s annoying. How does it work, that the enemies come back on my level again?
At the moment I’m on tvhm and im trying to close all quests and dlcs in that mode. Cause I read that you have to go for all of it due one mode, otherwise you don’t get the trophy for that… Is that true?
I know I’m able to switch to uvhm since level 50. How is that working in detail? In Story mode I’m close to the warrior… Better play through now or switch to uvhm?
Hopefully there is a wise expert out there
Need good loot again.
Thanks
Björn
Welcome, Bjorn! (sorry, don’t know how to make the umlaut)
I think you only get at-level enemies in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. If you are in tvhm, that should explain why you can’t farm at your level. Someone wiser than me may know otherwise.
Don’t know, so unfortunately can’t help you there.
UVHM is much harder than TVHM; if you can’t get equipment better than 50 in TVHM (not sure if that is true), then I don’t think leveling in tvhm will help you much because your level 50 gear won’t help you much against the schwerer enemies in uvhm.
I hope that is good advice and hope you find it helpful.

“if you can’t get equipment better than 50 in TVHM (not sure if that is true).” I think I only got 50+ gear from the golden chest in sanctuary for the last 4 levels. Have to investigate. Thx for that
Switching to UVHM will fix this issue as TVHM caps loot at 50 and enemies at 52.
Correct, however if you do all vanilla game quests in one playthrough you get the achievement for completing all quests, the DLC’s achievements function independently, so you would still get the achievement fr doing all missions in a DLC even if the main game still had active. I would suggest though that you consider moving onto UVHM asap and worrying about achievements later. Jumping fro TVHM to UVHM is the largest difficulty spike in the game, by playing so much in true you have out leveled your gear. You’ll start ultimate as a lvl 55 with lvl 50 guns and will be facing enemies between 54-57. Even for those used to UVHM this is going to be difficult, spending more time in TVHM will just make this worse.
As I said in 2 switching asap is recommended as the difficulty spike gets worse the further into the 50’s you get before switching. The golden chest will ease this slightly but shouldn’t be relied upon.
Yeah I know. After months of playing and reading about the game, I found out. was a poor choice, especially in uvhm. But when I start playing the game four months ago, I didn’t lay a hand on a PlayStation for years… So I was absolutely aimless at this moment but for now, commando does fine all the way through level 55. Got some good smg’s, the bee and a corrosive pandemic level 16(I guess)… still working good with all kind of enemies…crazy grenade.
I will see how axton do tomorrow

Seems like the solution (going to UVHM) has already been embraced. A bit odd that the OP is seeing level 35 enemies in the dust when they’re >50 though (unless that was an exaggeration for posting purposes?) The Dust is one of the areas where enemies do actually level up periodically, so they should cap out at 50 in TVHM.

Everything caps at lvl 49-52 after you kill the warrior in tvhm doesn’t it?
Edit: asking questions like this makes me feel like a noob
No, they really lv 36 or something. 50% of all my sidequests are below level 40. Start them early in tvhm. But really don’t know if this is normal…

If you accept a quest, that locks the level of the reward. It may be that certain areas tied to specific quests also get level-locked? I don’t know - it’s been a while since I paid attention. All the random spawns in The Dust (like the Bandit Technicals) ought to be higher level though.
Have to ask some really nooby question again. How the hell do I start new in uvhm? Sorry guys, don’t get it (got the handsome collection)
When I click one my level (in the upright corner on the start menu screen) I came on a point, where I can switch between normal and true. But no ultimate
