Need help have under leveled guns on my level 23 krieg

looking for tips or place to farm or quest reward for my lvl 23 Krieg. I found myself using weapons that are level 15-18. I didn’t even noticed I gained so many levels while playing in a group the other day. any info would be greatly appreciated!

Since you’re in normal mode (first play-through), you’ll need to advance in the story to unlock new areas which will then be at a higher level (along with the items in the vendors and the loot dropped by the enemies). From memory, you’ll want to be somewhere around the “Where Angels Fear to Tread” mission (Opportunity map) or beyond. You can also spend a Golden Key or two in Sanctuary, since items in the Golden Chest will always be at your character’s level. If Lynchwood is available to you, and you haven’t been there yet, you could drop in to say “Hi” to the locals and grab side quests there. Alternatively, the enemies in the Dust should also level up on a restart.

If you’re on XB1, I have some spares you would be welcome to.

If you’re near the end of the story i’d recommend farming the red chests in Arid Nexus Badlands. There’s two in Fyrestone itself, the one near the Saturn area on the roof of the building (Don’t need to fight Saturn to get it) and the one on top of the Info Stockade (After Saturn, where you fight the Badass Loader) You can run past the enemies (or most of them) to get the chests. There’s also the chest at the end of Hero’s Pass, if you enter Vault of the Warrior and then go back to Hero’s Pass, you will load in at that end, right next to it. Might be worth a few reloads if you’re stuck before that fight.

If you haven’t already, redeem as many shift codes as possible and use a few golden keys every 5-10 levels.

You don’t need to worry too much about farming on normal mode or getting on level guns. Just go to the last map area where enemies were around your level and look for some chests. Greens and blues (and even that white Jakob’s sniper rifle) will be fine to use. A strong gun on normal mode can last up to 10 levels.

I don’t know what level Frostburn canyon is for you, but there’s several red chests there. Thousand Cuts has several as well and you can even make it so there’s no enemies in most sections there.

As a last resort, you can get some shift codes from the link above and use golden keys which always drop purple or e-tech rarity on-level gear.

Several? I know of two. Where are there more? The two I mean are the one you run past after meeting Lilith in the story before you head to Bloodshot, and also the one on the pipe just before the Enkindling part of the map. I’ve never seen another red chest on that map but would love to know, I often farm there for tubbies.

There’s one above the Incinerator camp that you have to get to from the camp where Spycho is, and another behind an electrical gate in that camp.

All that said, in NVHM nothing in those chests is going to be anywhere near level 23, so this won’t help the OP.

Ah yes, I know about this one, the other you mentioned however is new to me! Still new things after 5 years, amazing.

As long as your enemy level and gear level are reasonably close, things should go just fine for you. It’s when enemy level starts exceeding gear level by a fair bit (3-5+ levels) that things will get tougher.

I would suggest to farm Mobley and Gettle in the dust after completing the mission, the good, the bad, and the Mordecai. (I think this is what the quest is called) If I am correct you get the mission from the sanctuary bounty board. They both drop legendarys , Mobley (Veruc-assault rifle) and Gettle (the name depends on what console you play on, but it’s a sniper rifle.)

excellent suggestion as that’s probably around the level he’s at, annoyed I didn’t think of it :sunglasses: you can also take “The Bane” side quest from Sanctuary around the same time and then farm McNally for a Hammer Buster, which hits like a truck at those levels… I got one around L40 and used it for nearly 10 levels.

Is a pretty great gun, you can also complete the clan war missions and farm either the hodunks( Slagga) or the Zafords(Maggie) both magically awesome guns.

And you also get the very decent Triquetra on the way through Clan War
