I’ve completed the Torque dlc and gotten mission for pyro Pete the invincible and defeated him.
Do I turn in the mission or not to farm Pete ?

You don’t have to turn in the quest to start farming him, you’re free to stay at the bar and kill him as many times as you like and have eridium for (and it’s 8E to spawn him, though 4E is about right for the net cost after you kill him 
).
With other raid bosses you generally do have to turn in the quest before you can farm, though.

I was hoping I hadn’t done something wrong.
I completed the mission a week ago and turned it in.
I’ve gone back to Pete’s to farm and it takes eridium and says the boss is locked.
I’m not online and I’m the only player.
Why is this happening ?

Maybe be wrong? But you sure it not the “story Pete fight” you completed, not like the Pete you fight when finished with the whole DLC.
If it’s saying (invincible)it should be the raid version you are fighting.
Ps. Sorry if that makes no sense, but it’s a rush "at work post"

I got to the end of game where the credits are shown.
Then went to Moxie’s and got mission for Pete.
I defeated Pete and turned in.
The next day and following days I went to Pete and is says he’s locked
