Hey guys so what’s the consensus on longbow for krieg? I already clear rooms with my setup thanks to bloodsplosions on op8 but I wanna try different gear. Does the longbow work with bloodbath? I assume it plays well with hell born krieg. What about pain is power? Does the critical hit drop make its overall dps lower ? Does the gun damage increase from pip affect snipers at all?
Longbow doesn’t proc Bloodbath and gets screwed over by PiP since the base damage bonus doesn’t apply to snipers
Only sniper I’d consider on hellborn Krieg is the pimpernel tbh

Yeah it’s still decent, just don’t spec into PiP
The Longbow is way more impressive on Zer0 or Maya though
Yeah I run them on those two already (though they are only level 25 atm, wondering if krieg can pull it off and use it like a ww1 rifle in cqc.
There are a grand total of two snipers listed in the Top Gear for Krieg, and the Longbow is one of them.
Land a crit on a slagged trash mob and BAM, Bloodsplosion chain like you’d nailed it with a Fastball.
The main impact can’t proc Bloodbath, but resulting kills from a Bloodsplosion caused by said main impact do proc Bloodbath.
In short, yeah it’s pretty awesome on Krieg (vs flesh of course).

Does pain In power take away potential since it decreases crit?
Yes it does. It’s bad news for snipers. You loose crit damage but don’t get the bonus gun damage. I tested this recently.
