Borderlands 1- SMG Gearbox

Hi, a few years ago when I was playing the hell out of this game, a friend of mine gave me an orange and green SMG similar to the tsunami, but it was made by Gearbox. I also found a similar looking Vladof gun as well. I lost my save when my hard drive corrupted, and I’m currently trying to find it. Can anyone confirm there is a gun like this in the game? He never told me where he got it.

was it a legendary smg?

I believe so. does gearbox make ones that are non-legendary? I was thinking that it was the rewards Lilith got from the Circle of Duty but there are no pictures online

well considering borderlands 1 has 17.75 million random generated guns, it is gonna be hard finding a non legendary. need more details

I mean the only source for Gearbox manufactured guns in the game are the rewards from Circle of Duty, but there aren’t any legendary Gearbox guns.
So yeah, it probably was that.

All I remember is that it was an SMG that was orange and green and it was gearbox. He found it near the end of the game is all i know. are there any legendaries matching that description?

There’s only a few that specifically have Gearbox as the manufacturer. Here’s a list:

I will be doing Circle of Duty with Lillith sometime soon, so I’ll try and remember to get a picture of her mission SMG when I do.

That’s just a Vladof AR. The Gearbox gun in the video is the scopeless sniper in the chest.

Anyway, the wiki states that mat3 Gearbox guns are orange/yellow.

thank you a lot! i need to replay this anyways but i remembered that it was a good gun and would help in the Underdome since I don’t want to use mods

yeah i know. I’m just using it to show that the gun I’m looking for resembles the Vladof AR. It is an SMG of gearbox make with that colour scheme

I also remember it having a massive clip as well. I dont know if that helps
