Does re-spawnable mini bosses fix one time encounters?

So I know that with the release of the Handsome Collection Gearbox realeased a patch that put re-spawnable mini mosses in the game. Does this make one time encounter side missions replayable to farm for legendaries?

From my understanding, yes. Badasses like Meg, Drongo Bones, the Giant Shuggarath and such should all be respawnable. I’m off to go check this really quick as I’ve been too busy with the DLC.

Well I just checked with CL4P-L3K and it’s not respawning. :neutral_face:

It was on a new toon I’m levelling and in normal mode after killing the bot to get the oz-kit reward he won’t respawn…

Farmability problems continue

yes respawning bosses are in, as far as CL4P-L3K, i dunno what to say, other than if you restrain him he respawns, if you kill him he doesn’t…

That was already the case before the patch…

If his name was included in the patch doesn’t it mean he should now respawn even when killed during the mission ?

was his name included? if so, i’d say there is something wrong then. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

just looked at patch notes and he is on the list. odd. i presume you downloaded the patch? cuz i got nothing else…

I think I did since my old bugged backpack on my “main” that used to be double-bugged to 33 slots after all SDU bought at Crazy-Earl (in december) is now “only” single-bugged at 36 slots… Instead of 39…

Also I have the heads and skins from TFTB and the weapons appear in the shift machine in Concordia, just didn’t take them yet : waiting to be lvl 70 since those are a one time per account type of gift…

Now how to make sure I did download the patch though ? Is there a number to check somewhere please ?

you can go see if meg is there or if the power suit noob is there…

Good idea :slight_smile: I know I killed the power-suit noob once with this toon. Was a few hours ago, i’ll go check now !

if they are and claplek isnt then my only suggestion is UVHM-reset :sweat_smile: and not kill claplek

Ok found him and killed him a second time.

Interresting thing to note => I haven’t done the related quest yet. As far as I remember he spawns, or used to, during one of the side quests. So imagine it works like CLAP-L3K : I do the quest where the power-suit noob spawns and after that he stops respawning just like CL4P-L3K in my PT right now ?

Anyway… The point was to make sure I had the patch right ? So if I was able to kill him twice today it means I have it right ?

Power suit Noob is the second guy in the Red then Dead mission. and i say yes you have it! but interesting about Claplek… powersuitnoob should respawn if you leave the map and re-enter

He does, just killed him a couple more time (to make sure :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: !) and yeah it’s more than just quit/save and restart, it’s really just using a fast travel back and forth and he’s there again. So that confirms I have the patch for good…

Also, because I never really paid attention to this guy back then : he used to NOT spawn at all until on the mission “red then dead” right ? Because, again, on this toon right now that killed him a bunch of time today (a lvl 22 toon as of today) i’ve not done the mission yet…

that is odd and good to know. are you sure you didnt do the mission? is it at the bounty board? also according to others only the newly respawning bosses will respawn by leaving and entering.

Also I just made another test : I loaded my lvl 50 Athena and just killed Meg in TVHM :blush: !
This time the quest I had done a long time ago…

EDIT : and again cough to make sure cough I killed Meg a couple more time and got this :
