World traveller achievement

Hey guys.

I’m trying to tick off the world traveller achievement and for the life of me I cant seem to find any areas I haven’t opened.

I’ve checked all the ones that people usually overlook , like the eridium blight bullymong place , avies campsite etc.

I feel like I’ve gone through the whole of Pandora twenty times over , and I still can’t unlock it.

Any suggestions as to what I might of missed?

Have you been to the Infested Grotto in Eridium Blight?

That’s the infested bullymong place, so my guess is “yes”!

@MeatPopsicle: Which of the intermediate Explorer achievements are you missing? That would help narrow it down. There’s

  • Arctic (Three Horns, Tundra Express, Frostburn)
  • Urban (Sanctuary, Opportunity, Lynchwood)
  • Highlands (Highlands, Thousand Cuts, WEP)
  • Blight (EB, Arid Nexus, Sawtooth)

There’s a couple of spots on the Three Horns maps where you can leave a whole or be slightly missing part of an outline.

Also make sure you’ve got the Ebonfloe area in Southern Shelf - Bay. There’s no mission that sends you over that way so it’s real easy to overlook it.

I thought about that but I wasnt sure if the world traveller has to be done on one character.
Ive ticked off all the other “area explorer” achievements.

I’m like 95% sure you’ve gotta uncover all parts of the map on a single character to knock off World Traveler.

Yep , did the Ebonfloe.
I’ve checked all the arenas , as well as Bunker , Terra and Warrior runs ,

I just assumed you would have completed them first all with the same character?!

Otherwise, looks like you will have to go FT to each map and check out the whole thing. Fortunately, you can do that in your inventory - just look for breaks in shading or the thicker, heavier outline.

And don’t forget those areas that cannot be accessed via Fast Travel (Southern Shelf Bay, Friendship Gulag, Holy Spirits, Sanctuary Hole).

Thats what I would of thought so I based it off them at first. Ive also visited each map and looked for suspects , to no avail!?

I checked them again just to be sure , all apart from the hole.

I’ll have to make a stop there to see.

Update : re-visited Sanctuary hole , Eridium Blight , Thousand cuts/Terra , Wildlife Preserve (including Slaughter Dome , just in case) and both Arid area’s.

Still no joy :frowning2:

By the time I get it I’ll be :older_man:

I’m 100% sure. Every achievement is single-character single-playthrough. Otherwise I’d have Obsessed by now…

For what it’s worth, my last spot was a corner of Friendship Gulag. Previous candidates for last spot were Terra’s map, the top level bit of Caustic Caverns, the back end of the thresher valley in the Highlands (from Overlook, turn left to the bridge, jump off, head uphill to the right - it was a fog of war area on my map for a surprisingly long time). Sounds like you’ve checked those already though. Good luck finding that last fog patch!

Might be worth checking the gulag again , I dont think I’ve gone back over that one yet.

Try the southpaw and steam and be sure to exit at the end with the chest. It will glitched aometime if you do it in coop.

Finally.

The last bit was where you travel from Highlands outwash to the Overlook Highlands part , right after killing the Thresher holding the beacon.

How I’ve managed to miss that with an OP8 character is beyond me! :thinking:
