Hey does anyone have any recommendations for a character to use for a dahl only run and tips you be great
Idle
- Characters - (I used the wiki to check)
- Jack - Normally Jack would be one of my first picks for this kind of thing, but since he has no Dahl coms, I’m just going to count him out.
- Clap Trap - I wouldn’t bother with him, his skill set doesn’t match with Dahl.
- Athena - Same thing for her.
- Nisha - Personally I’d pick her, as she has an amazing skill set for Dahl, and really good Dahl coms as well.
- Wilhelm - His only Dahl coms are in the Holodome, and he has always been my least favorite vault hunter.
- Aurelia - Aurelia also has some pretty good Dahl coms as well, but not quiet as good as Nisha’s. I’d rate her a solid second, only because she has bad leveling survivability and bad bossing abilities.
- Class Mods - I’m going with Nisha’s since I’d pick her.
- Chronicler of Elpis - Nisha’s best mobbing com when it comes to a non-Jakobs playstyle. It’d be a while before you got one, but this would be the best.
-
Sheriff - I’m pretty sure I’ve heard @DeputyChuck say this is Nisha’s best all round com. I’d go with a…
* Purple Sheriff with +5 “Bona Fide Grit” -
Lone Star - An amazing com for playstyles that prefer to ADS, so perfect for Dahl. I’d go with a…
* Blue Lone Star with +6 “Rarin’ To Go” and +5 “Wanted” - Weapons
- Easy and powerful farms
* Torrent
* Wet Week
* Fridgia
* Firestarta
* /He4rtf;ull Spl0dge…r - Powerful, but rare
* Pitchfork
* Blowfly (long quest line and you tend to not need corrosive)
* Major Tom (I don’t like it, but if anyone can use it, Nisha can)
* Dahl Miniguns
* Dahl Blasters
* Dahl Splitters
* Dahl Railguns (Overload glitch only) - While ADS, Dahl weapons don’t suffer from reduced firerate with the Overload/red glitch. - Shields
- Haymaker - Hands down the best. (All Anshin parts)
- Purple Dahl - When/if you don’t have the Haymaker/its DLC.
- Grenades
- Cryo Bouncing Betty
- Oz Kits
- Take your pick. None of them are particularly well suited for general play.
- Skill Tree
- Level 26 - http://thepresequel.com/Nisha/0000000000000000000000005541010151
- Level 48 - http://thepresequel.com/Nisha/0000000000005500150051005541010151
- Level 70 - http://thepresequel.com/Nisha/4101410140515500150051005541010151
- Notes: I personally don’t care about “Order” until I’m ready to fully spec into the tree, and if you don’t like “Quick Shot”, then just put the points in “Hot Lead” if you plan on using non-elemental weapons.

Omg, thank you sooooo much this is perfect and the skill trees are more than I was expecting anyone to do, thank you for your time and effort put into this to help out a fellow vault hunter

Good advice overall, only thing I would change is to drop points into order much sooner since it provides you with lot of survivability. Just enough to pick up the 3 1-pointer skills in the middle. For the rest, just follow Khim’s points.

I like to employ my “if everything is dead, then it’s not killing me” methodology. You’d be surprised how long I can survive off nothing but Bona Fide Grit. But everyone is different and has different playstyles, so I made a note about it.
Thanks for covering my tracks though, master Nisha.
