Hey all.
I’ve been wondering if there’s any good missions I’ve been neglecting.
What are some of the quests you guys like doing , either because the reward is decent or it’s just fun?
I always do the obvious ones (dont copy that floppy , safe and sound etc) but there’s bound to be some I’ve overlooked.

I always activate Medical Mystery: X-Com-municate so I get that amazing quest weapon. Some do this for the Grog, but I prefer terrible Bandit E-Tech ARs :slight_smile:

The capture the flags one in Sawtooth Cauldron, because it takes what’s already a pretty good mobbing run and turns the murder dial up to 11. Also provides good buzzard target practice for honing those Flakker skills, and you get another shot at the Pyre Thresher (revenge is best served roasted on its own corpse and combined with Smores.)

Is the Pyre Thresher a guranteed spawn?

First few playthru’s I loved having that gun.
Now I cant turn it in fast enough!

I always gravitate to the quests that will get me the gear I want…
Having said that, love the quests that ultimately end up with Best Mother’s Day Ever…that story line is funny as hell from beginning to end.

The other day I entered the Highlands through the Dust exit (something I’ve very seldom done) and TWO Pyre Threshers popped up in that area before the Blake Bridge… one spawned, I killed it, kept walking towards the bridge, and another popped up. I was like “…really!?”

One mission I always do when I’m co-op’ing is shields up or shielded favours (can’t remember which).
You can’t beat playing chicken on the roof of Dave’s house.

I feel obligated to throw out the patron saint of farming missions, Doctor’s Orders. It’s done so much for so many.

From Vanilla not a big fan of Raise The Flags and Statusque missions. Both are excort type of missions and involves gettting assaulted by hordes of enemies from all directions. As for favourites, I like wacky missions such as “Hungry Like the Skag” and “Kill Yourself”.

This one is great.

Which reminds me, I’m not sure if we’d count this in this conversation, but the Geary’s Gear mission/easter egg is pretty great.

My favorite side mission in the entire game is The Iceman Cometh. It doesn’t net you any particular unique gear, but Clappy’s dialogue throughout that mission is some of the best writing in the entire game. I do that mission every opportunity that I get.

My least favorite side mission is probably Walking the Dog, from the Torgue DLC. Not only is Enrique a total d-bag, the Boom Puppy is probably one of the worst unique weapons in the game. Hard pass, every time.

This mission got me thinking about all the ways we have to kill ourselves in the game.

Theres the car crusher at Ellies garage , the Fire pit underneath the Marcus shrine at the end of Bloodshot Ramparts ,
And then theres Voracidious where I may aswell walk up to him and shoot myself in the head!
