Hey guys, I only recently started getting into TPS for really the first time, I tried playing it before but didn’t really like it compared to BL2. I’m enjoying it now of course, but i’m a little unsure about how glitch weapons work. I jumped into Claptastic Voyage earlier with Timothy, and the first chest you open gave me a Glitch rarity Tediore pistol.
I can’t work out what it’s supposed to do that makes it different? Please can someone explain it to me. I have read through the post about them on here but i’m still not 100% sure what i’m looking for.
Thanks

Look at the green code on it. There are four numbers and four letters. Each letter is a different glitch, and the numbers give the proc chance: 0 = no glitch, 4 = high proc chance. L = Loop, A = Amp, O = Overkill, and M = Murder (actually, I forget what M is, but there’s a post in the loot section with all this stuff.) O4 turns a pistol into a very accurate rocket launcher. Again you can find the others listed in the forum loot section post or on the wiki.
And I can never for the life of me understand why 2K Aus didn’t order the glitch codes in the sequence LMAO.
I see. It just seemed like a standard Tediore pistol to me (aka fairly crap), but the reload had nice damage. The code on it is O1L4M3A2

Low overload chance, max Loop chance, high multishot chance, mediumn amp damage chance. Nice!
Multishot adds extra pellets, so even a revolver acts like a shotgun - really good for fast kills. Loop is a bit weird, and acts differently on different weapons, but an L4 can turn a pistol into an almost-Infinity since it adds extra bullets into the mag as you’re firing. It can be pretty insane in a mobbing environment.
Many thanks. What happens if I put Glitched stuff in the grinder? Does it work?

It does, yes. You can grind glitch weapons with codes you don’t want to try and get ones you do. You can’t combine them with other rarity items though.
