Need help with build/weapons for Digistruct peak 6th part

I am a Maya with Cat mode.I keep dying on scorch.I know his crit spots are behind but even at max level phaselock duration I cant kill him…Then 2 others spawn and I run like an idiot and die.Do you use Bee shield on Digi runs?I used an Antagonist but I got a Bee as well.I feel like I miss dps and dont know what to change.I am using a Babymaker shock element,a Good Touch, and a Plasma Caster Dahl corrosive.Should I level Fleet if I wear the Bee?

Even though you’re running a L. Cat don’t ignore other weapons for Maya. A lot of folks will use the top tier weapons for the dual Scorches such as a Bekah or DPUH (which is a lot easier to get). For heavy pistol usage a Sheriff’s Badge relic might be better than using a matching elemental one. Also, use the terrain- I usually drag them over to the gate where they can only come at me one at a time, making them easier to deal with…

Fire does less damage against shields, therefore Scorch does low damage. I mean that a good turtle shield should be enough assuming that you don’t forget to run away to let it recharge when it gets low. Inflamable version would be ideal if you want to further cut down risk of dying.

Thoughtlock can buy you a bit of time to heal against double scorches.
I was testing it the other day , alternating which one I laid the damage on until they were low enough to take one out.
I got dropped by surveyors shortly after though.

L Binder COM for Scorch! I guarantee it will give you more DPPL ( damage per Phaselock  ).

My preferred gun is the Crit. It’s just that it’s pretty far into the DLCs to have for each OP run. Also a shock Hail is great but same deal.

I swap gear out from corrosive to shock including a shock Bone.

Also this is Quasar territory. Singularities are a great defensive tool.

This is a big help

With the L. Cat, you sacrifice a lot of cooldown bonus in order to gain dps. And with the Bee being such a squishy shield, you’ll need ways to heal. Although a Grog is really great, it can be a hassle to switch guns back and forth. Here’s a build that you might wanna try. It’s a build that works. Giving you a ton of dps, but also allows you to heal without the Grog. Should you still feel that you want some extra healing, then I suggest you get your hands on a Bad Touch. Corrosive works best in the Peak, and this gun is exactly that. It’s really nice to heal off when you don’t have anything to phaselock, and your kill skills are inactive. A little Sustenance will also help you through the DoT’s. Scorn is really great in between phaselocks, and also works in FFYL.

I like the Bee on the Peak! It offers me a chance to finish off several enemies quickly. The trade off is that I have to plan my attacks more carefully, and stick to cover. Use Chain Lightning and/or Quasar for shield breaking. CL hits over a large area, while Quasar offers some extra crowd control.

I never cared much for Thoughtlock. It simply doesn’t fit my playstyle. And you’ll need to give up a lot of great skills in one of the other trees to get it. It’s also better with a L. Binder for extra Suspension. Fleet is a skill that really only has a place in Banshee builds. For every other build, there are better skills.

A bee and a shock sandhawk along with careful play (trying to back up to the last area so the Scorches don’t get on top of you with the jump attack, should sort that out.

Against the Scorches, patience is key. Quasars can be a big help, as well. You want to get them turned slightly so that you can get on their crit spots asap, and you’ll want to make sure that your Converge doesn’t pull the second Scorch in the way of the other. If that happens, they will body block for each other.

Lyuda and Hammer Buster are solid, easy to upgrade weapons for killing Scorches. Don’t worry about killing them in one PL. Just win the fight.

There is no gate there I think…You drop from a cliff.

I got elemental relics farmed from loot midgets. It is pretty much the same as the other one

The gate that transitions you from the first section to the second section. So backtrack, kiting them.

I managed to kill them eventually anyway…but died horrendously on that last robot boss, tried kiting him as well around the building but he is super fast at some point and killed me.God I hate this challenge!I cant even imagine what waits for me on the last 2 challenges after that one.

The OP7 run to unlock OP8 is the wooooorst. It’s worse than runs at OP8, because those get variable spawns in each area, while the OP7 run has set spawns, most of which are the worst in their areas.

Edited to add: I actually love the process of going 72-OP8 solo. I’m currently working up Krieg, loving every agonizing moment and thrilling win!

 Dying is a big part of the Peak. But you’ll get used to it!

On the final robot boss, patience is key with Maya. You can kite him around the small house but it’s small so your windows are correspondingly small. Bee hawk him but have a grog ready in another spot to stay above healthgate. Don’t plan on emptying a full clip, two waves off the Sandhawk and move to safer ground. Use the pimpernel too as you can get the bullet bounce to tag him around the corner. Don’t get greedy, especially when he’s launching missiles.

I had a little trick for OMGWTH : I equipped only one damage weapon and one healing weapon and leave the other slots empty. That way I don’t have to fumble to find instant healing. Chain Lightning or AoE grenades (Storm Front or, my preferred choice, Pandemics). PL for slag, toss Pandemic with Rubi/Grog in hand at all times and then pop shots off as ChemicalConundrum indicated. Eventually you’ll find that OMG is the easiest part.

Yeah I had no Grog…time to put that thing but to my first slot.I started dying after people telling me that I dont need it anymore with all her healing skills. The problem is that she doesnt have instant huge heal and if a rocket/grenade hits you,you die…
