Level 50 ultimate vault hunter upgrade 'undiscovered' 'my mission espansion'

I know that this question has probably been asked a 100 times but I’ve searched extensively and have not found an exact answer for my satisfaction. I am currently level 50 Commando & have a few 'side quests to finish in the DLC but my quandry is this.
In ‘my missions expanded’ there is a ultimate vault hunter ‘undiscovered’ mission.
I have the UVH DLC 2 pack downloaded and installed so my question is thus.
Why is this showing up with an exclamation point next to it?
Is there something I need to finish? I’m confused.
I know it is probably something really simple like start the TVHM level or
something. I am still in the normal mode. Thanks in advance.

I believe you’re seeing the DigiStruct peak starting mission. This was added with UVH2 as something for über-vault hunters to do when they didn’t have enough rage in their lives, but the basic mission can also be completed in TVHM (and possibly NVHM?) There are heads or skins for each character for it. Check in the list of Fast Travel locations.

(Note to @Kitty_Jo or @Ganjamira - can we get this moved to the right section please?)

@webber57 on which console do you play BL2 on? Just say and I move your topic to the fitting forum section

For now I´ll move it to the BL2 general Gameplay section.

I’ve all ready played the Digistruct Peak mission once in normal mode
back perhaps when I was about a level 38 or so.

Do you suppose I have to do it again since I am now a level 50
commando?

Okay then. Sorry I posted it in the wrong category.

You just keep doing it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and until you’ve built up enough of the rage that VH101 mentioned.

Do what over & over & over again??

The Peak run. It never stops being an available mission. You turn the mission into Tannis and she gives it to you again. It’s kind of Moebius strip.

Okay, I understand that part of DP but as to my original question of why does it say ‘undiscovered’ in my missions expansion under the heading of ultimate vault hunter upgrade if I have all ready played it in the normal mode?

Because all missions are reset in each subsequent mode. It’s like completing any other mission in NVHM : when you hit TVHM, they’ve all been wiped out.

Digistruct Peak resets but is now newly available as if you haven’t played it - assuming this is in fact what you’re seeing. Everything about the Peak is bizarre.

Got it Jefe. I will play DP this afternoon again and hope that the ‘undiscovered’ mission goes away or is completed. Will I still be able to finish my normal mode missions if I jump to TVHM? I still have Dragon Keep to finish in Normal mode and don’t want to ‘wipe’ it out so to speak.

Yes. Just hit the “Character Select” button at the main game menu and choose your character. You’ll then have the option of selecting which of your unlocked modes you want to continue in. Note that all your gear, XP, stats, etc. go with you regardless of mode, so you don’t have to worry about losing anything.

On the mission thing: you’ll also see a number of side quests in the DLCs that keep showing up e.g. in Torgue DLC, “Death Race” and “Bar-room Brawl”. Try not to get obsessed about it!

Okay, just finished late lunch and read your post. Thank you for the info. I will try to remain calm, and collected. I appreciate everyone’s help.

One bit of bad news : the Grog is a mission item so when you clock over to TVHM, the mission is reset and you lose your Grog.

Anyone know a (legit) way around this? I never have bothered to : I just keep my Rubi. It’s the better gun until nearing end-game imo.

Ask for a trade with anyone that has a legit one from the Community Day loot hunt of a few years back- I still use my level 47 GN on my OP8 Zero…

I appreciate the heads up Jefe but I don’t have a ‘Grog’ but I will be on the lookout for one.
