What Weapons work best with B0re?

I am starting to REALLY like this skill.

Best one point investment in the game I believe.

What weps work best with B0re??

For regular mobbing use I’d say anything with high base damage.

For the overlapping hitbox kills I’d name the pimpernel. Aside from Saturn anything should work pretty well though. The effectiveness of B0re is tied to how well you hardware can calculate all the damage going on. Old gen consoles (and my PC) are at at a disadvantage here. Dunno about current gen consoles.

Singularity grenades

Seriously though, anything that throws a lot of rounds downwind. My personal favorite is a Jakobs Gatling Gun, but mostly because I like to hear as much of that ā€˜thwppt’ sound as possible.

DPUH and Twister. Very standard fare.

The Pimp – but I’m sure you already knew that.

Another vote for the Twister. That + Singularity Grenades vs Hyperius is a thing to behold.

Why the singularity grenade?

It has no pellets.

How does it work with B0re?

I helps you group up enemies for the B0re shots.

Ahhhh I see now…group the bots.

I use a similar tactic with Hyperious as a commando to quickly reduce bots health and almost instantly get Hyperious to drop his shield. But it certainly doesn’t work as well as the vids I have seen of B0re…LOL

And it’s actully far riskier then the ā€œkill all the bots except one methodā€

Or you can Slag Pimp and Fire Avenger Chuck the bejesus out of him with a Bee…but that method depends entirely on equipment available and standing in an EXACT spot to chuck avengers.

Group the four loaders and Hyperius all close together. Fire Twister into the mass of overlaying hitboxes. A Bore shot actually creates a new pellet when it comes in contact with a hitbox (if I remember correctly – go shoot a Pimp at the test dummy and watch the ā€œflowerā€ pattern multiply). The Twister’s revolving pattern of pellets mean each pellet can hit a hitbox more than once as it spins through it. Each time making a new pellet…try and do the math. My 980 + i5690k almost couldn’t and my frame rate dropped through the floor as I basically one shot him.

Same principle applies with the Bunker. Complicated hitbox means pellets bouncing around in there multiplying very quickly.

I assume the grenade is a Slag Singularity…to add the benefit from it at the same time?

Yep. But if the hitboxes are overlapping, the math is so outrageous, I’m not sure it matters. Getting the right alignment can be tricky

Do you throw a ton of Kunai as well?? Right before the shot?

Yes. Dump about 4 singularity grenades near Hyp’s feet to keep drawing the loaders close to him. Move towards a side that make Hyp walk closer to the bots as he approaches you. Dump a few more for good measure. Deception away from yourself (those damn rockets), kunai into him, empty the Twister.

ZZZZRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtttttttttttttt. Fight over. Although sometimes a few bots live through it.

I have WONDERFUL Twisters from the Loot Hunt on my Commando I can share to this new Zer0

At 50, 61, 72 and 80.

Thank the good Lord for that Loot Hunt years ago. My ONLY Twister before it was the base model and took me like three days to get…VERY frustrating…LOL

You actually want a few bots between you and Hyp – picture a three circle Venn diagram all overlapping. Two bots + Hyp. Twister shots Bore through the loaders’ hitboxes - multiplying a ton as they revolve into and out of and then back into their hitboxes before hitting Hyp.

And that’s where I got mine as well. Damn that event was so fun.

Thanks…and I kinda feel a bit sorry for all the new players who don’t have access to that kind of gear. I did the same things with Grogs…got em at a bunch of different levels.

Gave away all my spares long ago to new players.
