I’m starting a thread for general gear questions.
So I got a Shock Royal Omen that I can use at 35. How is this gun for Gaige? I am not doing anarchy yet.
Shock weapons are generall good for gage. However this also depends on the build that your using. At level 35 the omen will be pretty good :D. As for the anarchy part I wouldnt worry about that untill about kevel 60. Thats when I started going to anarchy
I am speccing down BFF, I will just have started LBT.

Even if you bury all your points into the Best Friends Forever, that gun would be worth using (but you’ll certainly get more out of it with Anarchy and/or some points in Wires Don’t Talk and Electrical Burn, for example).
I’ve got a question then : has anyone recently used the Avenger to the awesome effect that it’s supposed to have? Maybe a video (other than Demonite’s Hyperius kill)? I haven’t tried it extensively but can’t seem to have it do anything. I know the Baby Maker got it’s amp damage nerfed so I wonder if the Avenger was similarly nerfed.
Mine is OP8 corrosive used with Bee on Maya (my only OP8 character) against mobs, Peak Black Queens and OMGWTH
I use a set of Avenger SMGs on my Gaige to (what I consider) good effect. They’re good for hammering out a solid stream of DPS. And even though the elemental effect chance is only at 10%, I’m consistently causing DoT with Gaige’s skill set. So far they’re my favorite SMGs to use.

What are your top two weapon types to use when playing as Gaige?
My top two go to’s are SMGs and Shotguns. (Particularly the Avenger and Conference Call in tandem with elements included of course) Plus they play well with my build, making them the standard for what I currently run.
Right now? Pistols and Shotguns.

I am not going to spec into anarchy until endgame.
Until endgame (or close to it) I was pistols and SMGs. Didn’t care much for shotguns until I got accustomed to them as of late.
SMGs are the ones I was never a fan of. I always enjoyed Shotguns for when things got up close and personal.
D: you got beef with smgs? We might have an issure here buddy. In my opinion every weapon category has its good side. I never really favorited any weapon categories I like em all the same :V!
