Enemies are way above mission level

Im trying to do the Firehawk mission in UVHM, the mission is listed as Level 53. i am Level 55. I get all the way to the last area and there are two Badass thugs ( I forget what they are called - the one with no shirt and a shotgun…). Two of them at the center area, both level 60. Isn’t level 60 too high for that level - let alone too high for me? Problem is not just the levels - I cannot kill them. I bring one of them down to an imperceptible amount of life but it win’t DIE. It even acts like it’s going to die, but gathers itself and keeps shooting… Is that normal?

In UVHM enemies scale to your level, not mission.

Plus unaccepted missions will be always at your level. When you accept a mission, it will stay at the level when you acquire it even if you level up.

Plus plus, those two Bruisers are merely for cinematic purposes. You can’t kill em but you don’t need to. Get close and a cutscene should appear, killing them both.

Except if it glitches… Run past them. If the cutscene still doesn’t appear, well… Your best bet is to save n quit, which unfortunately will put you at the beginning of the map (the only fast travel in Frostburn Canyon).

I think you’re talking about the two bruisers at the entrance of Lilith’s platform: you’re not supposed to kill them; just walk towards them and let Lilith do the work.

Yep, gotta kill them both, then go to the Forest in Tiny Tina’s DLC and kill those lv. 120 Treants too. :stuck_out_tongue:

been there, Done that

the two bruisers at the entrance of Lylith’s platform, I just love shooting them apart and no they don’t die (Cut Scene as you near), but parts come off (Hint: you can score a couple of B.A.R. Challenges off them)

and kill those lv. 120 Treants too, to be honest I’ve took my OP 8 to NVHM and killed them (their Level 80 there, need to be quick and no they don’t drop anything)

Lol I have shot up the OP 26 Bruisers in Frostburn, never tried to kill the Treants though.

Well i guess that clears that up… Jeez, I sure wasted a lot of time…
