i used to play BL2 long long ago and now i really want to get back into the game
when i started to play BL2 i started with gaige which was my favorite but after not able to find a decent strong build for her i swapped to Siren and did OP8 easly…
what i liked about the siren mostly is the fact that i could slag with my phaselock and use weapons for each enemy
i used 2-3 Sandhawks depens on enemy and nortfleet for second wind
anyway i wonder if there is a build for gaige so i can start over that also offers the comfort that my siren had…
something strong and fun but not sdomething that requires you to switch weapons and shield every minute to get it to work…
No anarchy stacking, only shock guns are necessary and with EB, everything flesh dies by just thinking about it.
and 10/5 Interspersed Outbursts can play slag duty

A L. Catalyst will hit all skills in the LBT tree while boosting elemental damage. The last 2 points you can put where you want. Suggested gear would be most any shock weapon (Twister, shock Redundant Fibber, Storm, etc), Jakobs shotguns, the Florentine, shock BotA, FotF, Blockade and cool down relic. The only drawback to this build (if you want to call it that) is that you don’t get her strongest shield skill, Blood Soaked Shields. Your choice as to taking Cooking Up Trouble or The Better Half. With Discord looping you can control how high your Anarchy stacks get so if you want to snipe with her you can- it also makes running a Bee with her extremely beneficial…

For UVHM, any build that includes Interspersed Outburst should work for you since it reduces the need to swap weapons for slagging duties. Just be aware that you need at least 5/5 in it with a class mod boost for it to be reliable (more details in the post linked above.) Electrical Burn lets you set fire to enemies using a shock weapon, so that’s fun! Gaige can be an absolute riot, with or without anarchy.

i got really confused in this forum with all the link being updates from old guides i got lost and dont know which builds / weapons are the ones to go with
but now i know i dont like builds that use Discord and id like to focus more on Shock if its even good … because all those shock thingys look really awesome

So basically it’s what I gave you except he took Potent As a Pony instead of Unstoppable Force. Buck Up is supposed to be fixed now but if you play with others that rely on their shields being down (like Krieg with a RR) that could get annoying when DT is always trying to ‘fix’ it Are you going with a DT focused build or do you want Gaige to be the star? If the later go with UF- only Axton has as strong as shield skills as Gaige, and considering that even raid bosses usually have minions to kill I’d rather keep my shields up as much as possible (the movement boost is also nice as well…). If you want DT to carry the load then that build with a L. Roboteer might be what you’re looking for. Get a good roid shield, lose Buck Up and you should be set…

i just started my gaige now . so im taking it slowly it will take some time until i get to high level but i want to make sure i know what my build will be
It will work, it’s just personal preference on my part not to take either Buck Up or One Two Boom, and with the 1 point in Anarchy you’ll get some extra ‘oomph’ from your weapons- just be sure to not manually reload or your stacks will disappear…
oh so each time i reload manually with anarcy i lose the stacks ?
also if you say that Buck up or one two boom not worth it

Correct- if you had Discord you could prevent the loss of your Anarchy stacks by reloading again, but w/o Discord if you reload prematurely you lose ALL your Anarchy stacks. The 1 point skills I like (which others may not- personal preference and all that) are The Stare, Shock and AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!, Upshot Robot, Explosive Clap, Robot Rampage, Discord and Rational Anarchist (the capstone skills in the BFF and LBT trees go w/o saying…).
i swaped the reload key to numpad 5 and managed to get 150 stacks

i checked the skills u mentioned Buck up and One two three and ill swap them with something else .
right now i just killed flynt and im lvl 8 only so its gonna take some time to get better
but i got 200 keys so i can get some decent starting weapons to work my way out
so let me understand correctly

You don’t need to (as I said, personal preference and all that) but IMO One Two Boom is only useful if you shoot the orb- when you’re being swarmed by 6 rabid stalkers shooting a floating orb may be the last thing on your mind And as I said about Buck Up- roid shields are great on Gaige as DT gets the benefits of the shield as well with Sharing is Caring, but if DT is trying to restore your shields with Buck Up then it kind of negates the purpose of having a roid shield, which is the bonus melee damage when the shield is depleted (of course, you wouldn’t want to spec into Gaige’s shield skills with a roid shield anyway so…).

I use shotguns with low amo and fast reload to avoid reload and get fast anarchy, deathtrap do must of the killings while your bullets ricochet.
In Normal pretty much anything can work so long as you don’t get careless. In TVHM you might want to save some side missions for level 50 so that you can start UVHM with decent gear (relics and class mods tend to last the longest- most other gear, particularly weapons/shields, will need to be replaced frequently). In TVHM do the Marcus Saves Mercenary Day Headhunter pack at level 50 if you have it- the loot train can be farmed indefinitely and the gear on it will always be at your level.
Once you start UVHM get to Sanctuary then either start the Marcus Headhunter pack or your favorite dlc. The Marcus HH pack will always have on level gear on the loot train once you start UVHM (in TVHM the gear is locked to the level you first do it at, so if you do it at level 45 the loot on the train will always be level 45 even if you get to level 50). The reason you start the dlc is to get access to the unique weapons in them at the level you want- even if you want to save the weapons for level 72 you can at least get the missions before those out of the way, like getting to The Forest in the Tiny Tina dlc to farm the treants for Bees.
