Any way to change profile name?

Can someone please let me know if there is a way to change my profile / account name in Borderlands. I can’t seem to find that option in game.

How does one change their username?

As the title suggests I would like to change my username on the forums, but I cannot find a way to do so. I accidentally filled out the fields incorrectly and now my username is stuck as “des1” which was not my intention. I found one post saying to change it on my shift account and that the change would carry over, however this does not appear to have worked. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Edit: Oh wait, you mean in the forums or the actual game? IIRC You can change your character’s name at one of the New-U stations? You can also change colour palette there.

Hi… I meant the profile / account name in-game. It’s the name that appears above the character name in the character menu.

I found the New-U station menu to change the character name but there seems to be no option to change the profile name.

That’s the account name for your platform (XBL, PSN, or Steam ID). The only way to change that is to change your account name, which is nothing to do with the game itself.
