Borderlands the prequel sequel is a game unfriendly towards males. Main story is about jack. He is one of the few males in the game you don’t kill. He is greedy, ignorant, and rude. He teams up with springs. Springs loves female characters and hates male characters. springs has you kill a deadlift for being a man and he has something. Deadlift does not want to fight me until he persuaded to by zarpedon. Gladstone is a dude in distress that you rescue. Wilhelm gives up his manhood to become machine. Pickle is just a kid. Claptrap is a machine. Lilith goes from nice girl to crazy psycho. Moxxi is a closet mechanic that threatens to kill me. Felicity is a computer forced to be machine.
As torgue said in bl2 "respecting women is badass"
This is why borderlands tps is hard for me to enjoy.
You’d be surprised with how many female gamers there are.
This will get locked fast but wow, this got me quite the headache. I haven’t read such a big strawman in a long time.
Deadlift is a dick, therefore he dies. This is Borderlands and people have died for far pettier reasons.
Being lesbian isn’t the same as hating men, not even close. Springs is very chatty with everybody and her interactions with Mr. Torgue are quite adorable (for the most part anyway).
Moxxi threatens to have her son kill you, regardless of your character’s gender.
There IS a certain lack of female enemies but they are do exist, even in this game and in the previous games as well. That’s something I’d like to see improved upon however.
Pickle… well, honestly can’t disagree.
Timothy is, according to your definition, the “most” male of the playable characters here. He is also a really nice guy who just had some really bad luck.
And this:
I…don’t see this going anywhere good.
Gearbox are an inclusive bunch of people. So is this forum.
So…closed.
