he says if your using interfacers, something about resetting and inaccurate as f***?

can someone please explain whats going on here? thankyou.

Reverse recoil on Hyperions mean they get increased recoil with that skill, making them slightly unwieldy.

Hyperion guns have reverse recoil so as you shoot them they get more accurate, not less. However that means recoil bonuses hurt them instead of helping them.

Boom beat me to it.

Steady as she goes does 2 things:

It decreases recoil and will sometimes improve your accuracy after a hit

Both of these things are detrimental to any Hyperion weapon, as they have reverse recoil (they start inacurate and get more precise with shooting.

Reducing recoil means it takes longer to reach pinpoint accuracy, and the “improved accuracy” means that the reticle will open back up from time to time.

Basically, if you plan on using Hyperion weapons with Sal, don’t take SaSG

edit: wow…double ninja’d

However, I don’t think it makes hyperion guns terrible as I show below

Yeah, it’s not THAT bad
Personally, when I have a hybrid loadout (some guns are Hyperion, some aren’t) I usually still take it

Yer, i didn’t see anything that different to be honest either. Thank you derch for your vid

Buff Gamer: I just got done firing a Hyperion SMG with BAR on. Inverse recoil sucked. 6/10.
Adabiviak: F*cking WHAT?!

I just thought the initial sway on those Hyperion guns was part of the gimmick (first few shots go wide in exchange for high accuracy/low recoil for the remainder of the magazine)? I only roll with 20% BAR, so the initial spray isn’t as bad as that, but with BAR off, those guns are… too accurate? I mean, there’s no tradeoff for their high accuracy without “breaking” it with BAR like that?
