Tip For Anyone Farming An Unkempt Harold

I didn’t know this until last night but apparently, Savage Lee can spawn in 2 place in three horns divide. When you first enter the area, he can be right behind you fighting bullymongs but also over by where you go to find reese before you go to sanctuary the first time. If he doesn’t show up at position 1 (either spot) when you enter the map, move on to the next stop. Don’t forget to kill Boll at stop 2 because he drops the fastball grenade mod! Savage Lee pops out of a cave at stop 3. Hope this helps! I got 3 Harolds and a pair of fastballs (shock, corrosive) last night following this path.

Torgue machines, plus a mule, both wearing the Lucrative Opportunity.

So much DPUH!!

It’s much easier to farm three horns than it is to build up 613 torgue tokens to buy one

Personally I’d rather have 8 chances to get one than 3- also, on the way there you can try to get a Cobra, and the Bar enemies have a rare chance to world drop a legendary item, to say nothing of the occasional Gunzerker or Commando class mod, heads, Hulks and Ravagers, Nukem, Kerblaster etc…

I did both (more than once) and overall, if you’re not picky (you just want any Harold), Savage Lee is faster.
But if you want specific parts (Torgue grip and DP accessory for example) then the machine is much faster.

It’s still faster to just reload the game than to wait for the item on sale to change

I usually bundle mine into Cobra Farming:
Start at Moxxi’s bar, check machine
Fast travel to Beatdown, check machine
Run to Pyro Pete’s killing Burners & checking drops, Check machine
Run back to Beatdown machine and check
Fast travel to Moxxi’s and check
Reload & repeat
