Can you b0re terramorphous? if so can someone link me a video or something. thanks
I may be wrong, but I think the only way to b0re Terra is to shoot through the tentacles. At least that’s my strategy when I face Ultimate Badass Pyre Threshers and Old Slappy with Zer0. It won’t work the same as on other bosses, so you can forget one or two shot kills like you do with BNK3R, Hyperius and Saturn. As far as I know, Terra doesn’t have overlapping hitboxes so you actually need separate enemies in front of him to b0re through (like the tentacles). However, the tentacle spawns are usually pretty scattered over the arena, so it’s gonna be hard to get in the right position. It could help, but there are other, better strategies to take on Terra with Zer0 and you really shouldn’t rely on b0re.
Another question, I b0red Hyperious but I can only get him down to half hp… What am I doing wrong? I saw a video of a guy, Gothalion I think, using a level one basic repeater and one shotting him…
Are you playing on console or PC? On console the damage you deal will be much diminished because consoles don’t have the processing power to calculate it. You just can’t do those ridiculous single shot b0re kills on console. It’s also very luck dependent. You need to make sure to cram up as many of the loaders in front of Hyperius as you can, slag him and also hit the right spot. Remember that the more loaders your bullets go through, the more damage you deal. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t.

it is hit or miss (pun intended). It depends a lot on your gun, and the accuracy. You have to hit it just right so that ALL the projectiles go through the loaders AND hit Hyperius (preferrably in the head).

I’m playing on the 360 and I’ve B0red Hyperius with a single shot several times. It’s probably easier on the PC but still possible on consoles.

He’s talking about using one bullet from a gun that only deals 1 damage to insta-kill hyperious I think.
None of the console people were able to replicate it while the PC people could very easily.
Granted there were more people playing zero on PC than console at the time and it was hard to find anyone who wasn’t doing melee.
It had to do with FPS caps, like the flakker was better on console because it fire invisible rounds that could potentially cause a one shot on a raid in rare situations.
All my time on console I’ve only see it twice and it was only on terra.

You need 2 things
1: an enemy with overlapping hit boxes (Hyperius has, Terra doesn’t really)
2: a platform capable of handling it (so a powerful PC, not a console)

True, on console, I have never done a one shot (at least when doing same level as me). Though I have done it with one mag in a DPUH.
Also keep in mind some of those YouTube videos you see took many tries to get it right sometimes 100’s of tries.

To try and explain b0re…
When you have bore and hit a hit box your bullet stops and the game makes a new bullet with the b0re damage buff that follows the same path as the bullet you shot.
So on most situations this is solid but not amazing.
Now if 2 hit boxes occupy the same space b0re gets a bit confused… It hits the first hit box and does what it does but since there is another hot box in the same space your next frame it does it again and again and again etc… Until the bullet has moved past the overlapping hitboxes.
So this is a big reason pc is more forgiving… In general you have more frames and creating a new bullet every frame stressed the system and causes you to loose frames, sometimes crashing your game.
So terra like other said doesn’t have the overlapping hit boxes to really take advantage of this. During the manager phase would be your best chance.

If you’re lucky, when Terra spawns 6 (I think) masher tentacles, those tentacles can appear right beside Terra and make their hit boxes overlap. You can then try to B0re them. It’s hard to do since Terra’s tentacles moves rather erratically, and they do it often.
Not the same case with 6 fire tentacles. Those tentacles are programmed to spit balls so they will often spawn far away from each other.
