Does anyone know how to Phasejump?

I’ve seen a few speedruns where people using Lilith jump immediately after ending Phasewalk get a speed boost when jumping. I’ve tried to figure it out but with no success. Video below gives a visual of what I’m talking about:

Does anyone here know how to do this?

Unfortunately, I do not have an answer to this, but thanks for sharing the video. I didn’t know that Sledge’s Shotty is THAT powerful

The only thing I see happening is that since the player is already moving at an increased speed while in Phasewalk, jumping just before it ends allows the player to continue moving at that speed, through the air beyond when Phasewalk ends.

Or basically, inertia.

Sorry for the late response, but this can only be done on PC by exiting your phasewalk and jumping at the same time. Really simple trick that most players end up doing inadvertently at some point, anyway. I’m assuming it can’t be done on consoles/controllers because of input lag. That or they just patched it out of the console versions.

I had forgotten all about this thread since I haven’t played Borderlands in nearly a couple months.

Coincidently, I do play this game on PC but with a Dualshock 4. Is it only possible to do the exploit with a keyboard & mouse?

I can confirm that it is possible to phasejump on xbox360. I use controller Razer Sabertooth. Can not confirm or on original is possible because do not have that controller.

News to me and that pretty much narrows it down to some sort of input lag then. If I still had a Scuf with some paddles I could hop on test that as well, but yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I’ve tried on the regular controllers many times with no success.
