All of you seem to be veterans with all the knowledge about gear, game strategies, and even eachother, but i just roll around in the trade forum and create too many threads about stuff you all seem to answer in two sentences, without thinking. Am i the only unproducttive BL2 baby here? How long will it take to “get good?”

I hope one day to become good at this game :stuck_out_tongue: But I made myself a vow when I started playing video games that, as a chronic perfectionist in everything I do, games would be something where being good meant absolutely nothing. All that mattered was having a good time.

Of course in online games when I play badly I’m usually alerted to the fact in no uncertain terms, but the Bl2 crowd, especially on this forum, are incredibly courteous and helpful. :heart:

Guys like you keep all the old farts here active. Imagine what would happen if there were no new players at all… No new ways to look at things… No hard earned experiences to pass on to new blood… I don’t even wanna think about that!

I just wanna say: Thank you for helping us all making this forum a really nice place to visit! You have no idea how much I appreciate reading the stuff here. Keep it coming, Mate!

Fret not, @hattieinduni I hear Microsoft are making attempts to bridge the gap, so-to-speak. Cross platform compatibility. So far I hear its only xbox/pc that are bridging the gap. Sony is making attempts within their own. I hear PS4 will try to be compatible with Vita, or whatever it’s called. Bottomline is, we may be able to coop at some point in the near future. :wink:

I mean good is a relative term, and since neither this game or this forum is competitive I wouldn’t worry about being good, just worry about Havjng fun and enjoying yoursef

This is bad. I am like a cat with a ball of yarn. I keep scrolling up and down with the new slider timeline for posts. You can increment up/down by date. :smile: fascinating…

Correction: increment by post number. I’ll have to jump to a larger thread to test the dates. :sweat_smile:

Edit: OK, I just bounced to the BAR perks Thread. yes, you can increment by date and post number simultaneously. Joy! :joy:

The only shame is in not asking.

That’s hard to answer because everybody’s different. In other words, it’s entirely up to you. This isn’t a contest or a race, so don’t feel like you have to “get gud” quickly. If you’re enjoying yourself, don’t worry about it. If you have questions, ask them. The wise person knows both what they don’t know and when to ask questions. Everybody here started out just like you, but we learned by doing and by asking. :slight_smile:
