Action Lady Fist question

Does the crit boost of the Lady Fist (in this case, the bladed variant) apply to melee strikes? Thanks in advance!!

From my understanding, Melee crits and Gun crits are two different stats.

No i dont think it does. I wish it did krieg with a bladed lady fist would be so fun.
