Hi guys, I need help on getting a legendary soldier class mod for my lvl 72 Axton. And I went to every corner of the map(s) to find loot midgets that might drop them. None has dropped one. I already did the quest “Doctor’s Orders” at the wild exploitation preserve so no point in trying to farm at that area. Is there any way to earn one without wasting 4-6 hours a day trying to find a legendary soldier class mod? Please help, I feel like loot midgets at my lvl don’t drop any class mods.

RNG can be a b!tch sometimes.
If you have access to the Mercenary Day DLC, the loot train has a high chance of giving out legendary class mods. With just a little luck, you could get multiple Legendary Soldier class mods in just a few tries.
Hey @kyungc, as @xmngr stated, we do have a super helpful trading section on here.
If it is driving you nuts, you can list some of your unwanted gear and trade it for something you need.
Although, I’ve seen so many people just give it a way in the past, so that could happen for you as well.

I am in the same boat. Sold mine by accident I assume because it was there and gone after a save/quit. I’ve been hunting midgets, chest farming and looting the train for a few weeks now. I used to find them all the time especially when playing maya but sold them because axton had a great one already.
Even found a leg engineer and pointman from tubbys
As soon as I give up and stop looking for it I’m hoping it will pop up.
Was able to clear the first run at the peak with a master grenedier but not sure how long that will carry me as my fastballs become under leveled

It’s funny, but I was helping @hattieinduni find a Legendary Sickle COM for her Krieg and it was the first thing we ran across. So keep looking, OP, because you’re sure to find what you’re looking for eventually.
I just assumed having a ‘Community Badass’ on your team results in an increased loot drop rate 
In my own experience you have to grind, unfortunately, and it can take some time, but as Gulfwulf notes you can get lucky. I quite like mixing tubby farming with other farms to keep the variety up. Frostburn Canyon is my favourite - 4 red chests and a lot of spiderants.
A quicker save/quit method of getting them is tubby Skags outside the Happy Pig Motel.
I pulled a level 72 and a OP 8 version out of my mules and linked up with him…he’s set.
The two mods were pretty close to max specs from what I could tell…good percentages.
If it’s one thing I have…it’s a LOT of mods…LOL

I’ve gotten tons of legendary class mods farming tubbies in the Natural Selection Annex/Creature Slaughter Dome. IMPORTANT –
“Accept round one of the slaughter, fight through till the final wave but NEVER complete it, die at the end by the final few spiderlings or other lesser spiderants.”

Had THREE LEGENDARIES!! drop at one time there once (BL2 high point) Hardest thing is making sure not to finish the round! Sometimes take my shield off to insure death. Try to cause a big ruckus & the tubbies waddle in! (Note apparently leg.mod dropping tubbies only appear if you’re level 62 or higher)
