On op8, how do these compare? is the damage difference significant?
Ogre all the way. Afaik all of its stats are higher. Also it’s random effect boost fire rate and recoil if I’m not mistaken.

Should have mentioned that the ogre is a ridiculous farm. So a purple spitter will work just fine.
Yes, Ogre has some extra features including a 100% splash damage bonus. But, it’s a pain to acquire, so depending on your love of self-torture in the badass round a decent spitter has its merits too

Hanks guys! So on op8, a purple Nasty Spitter will still be pretty damn good, just not as good? Could it compare to a Kerblaster?
It should. I guess I can try and get one to compare.
I always like having a Spitter/Ogre as well as a Kerblaster, just cause in some situations the low fire rate and multiple ammo per shot can make the Kerblaster a bit unwieldy.

Ogre hands down
The Kerblaster makes a good sniping AR, especially if you can throw a Quasar or singularity in first. But, the Ogre is an all around better rifle. I can take Buzzards out with it on OP 8 as long as they don’t go fly behind an obstacle and heal up.
No, acquiring the ogre op8 is sublime bliss. Spike pits, waves of fire archers, skeleton mages, ultimate badass dwarves, trios of ultimate badass mages and sorcerors, elemental damage spewing from the terrain, all atop a postage stamp sized pinnacle. All your money gone. And it takes forever. Yeah its so fun. So fun.
The ogre is pretty good. The kerblaster doesnt even come close, IMO. I actually use mine quite a bit. But im axton, and its better for him than anyone else. If you were on pc, id happily help you farm one.
So a purple Nasty Spitter won’t be as effective as an Ogre, but it is still really damn powerful with a Grenade Axton?

Ogre…hands down.
Spitters are great but don’t kid yourself…the Ogre is THE explosive AR for Axton…far better than the good Kerblaster.
