I am trying to play Borderlands on my XBONE with the new games for gold since it was released today but I don’t and never did own an XBOX 360 so i can’t figure out how to how to get the game on my new console. I thought someone here might be able to help thanks.
I had a disk copy on hand, so I just inserted that and the XB1 downloaded the digital version. I still have to insert the physical disk to play, though (much like installing a game from disk on the 360.) The games I’ve seen advertised as “Free with gold” are only showing up on my 360 so far. If you don’t have a 360, you’d need to check with the Microsoft Store about availability of the XB1 version.
Alright thanks I’ll have try something it’s just the video they have on Xbox says you can do it online but I can’t figure out how to download it. It only gives me the option for a 360 download smh
You could always pick up a used BL1 game for 360 and throw that it…
Go on xbox.com sign in and search for bl. Click confirm purchase (free) and it will show in games and apps on xb1
