Hello Everyone! :smiley:

I would like to ask the K-community’s opinion on the best route (efficient and fastest) to level up from 1 to UVHM level 72. I didn’t place this in the general forums, because I was hoping if we can create a route tailored to Dr. K.

It’s been very a long time since I’ve played BL2, but my experience extends to OP8. I’ve been looking into methods such as mixing in DLCs, varkid farming, etc but unfortunately can’t seem to jot down a plan that would be the quickest and most efficient for Krieg. Generally, I enjoy planning out the adventure before I start, so I wouldn’t need to stop until I reach my goal. I’m open to all suggestions, so please don’t hold back.

Edit: Hey guys, what kind of weapons would should I watch out for, or possibly target throughout the journey to 72? I’ve checked a couple threads/videos, and it seems that Krieg doesn’t require a lot of gear similar like other characters do. Yet when I try to see what gear people look towards or target, it varies from one individual to another. Pretty interesting though.

I cannot stress this enough listen your instincts up until you get to UVHM. (This ofcourse may be my opinion alone.)

During that time, it would naturally help to get guidance from the community, but experimentation early on will allow you to develop your own technique which will give you that right blend of experience/failure/success that will ultimately provide you with the correct tools to rely on something other than your build/items when you enter OP.

The kid playing street football 4 times a week will have far better instincts than the one going to footy camp in the summer and being told what the proper method is. You’ve got plenty of time to learn that.

I do agree with you, but I’ve already gotten 2x level 72 characters a long time ago. While I do have some idea of leveling up, I just personally enjoy planning out the best route out there. I greatly appreciate your reply =).

Sorry, in fairness I didn’t take in to account whether or not one prefers to plan it out.

In which case, I would agree that it is the best option.

Not trying to say my builds the best bit, my thread does have a leveling guide if your interested.

depends entirely on your build. I use a DPUH and the Ogre. Mainly the Ogre, because I don’t want to make it too easy.

Definitely not that. My fire rate is so high the carnage shoots like the infinity. And since its so powerful, it shoots itself into the ground, where I die.

I have a quick question, when do you guys tend to use BXR while leveling up?
So let’s say you’re about to enter an area and start mobbing, do you guys;
a) pop it immediately
b) Wait to get low on HP and use it
c) Only use it when you run out of bullets?

And do you hold back, if you know a boss is coming up soon or do you not use BXR vs bosses until you are level 31?

I could usually get by with just his melee damage buffs until I got RtB. With EtR,StV, and StW you should be fine.

I usually pop it when my shield goes down until I get release the beast, then I pop it when it’s ready.
