Just wanted to share
I expected someone shouting âTIME TO COMPENSATE!!!â
Heâs taller than I expected in real lifeâŚ
More like âtime to over-compensateâ
This may not be as cool, but I love Jerryâs channel. Skip to 50 seconds if you want to see some more Salvador action!
Those are def not Tediore brand, Stoker.
Interesting vid. I fail to see the practicality of that, but heyâŚsometimes we do things âjust cuzzâ.
I say this guy wins the true âreal lifeâ Gunzerker

Except, that is obviously a HammerBuster in his main handâŚhis build is broken af.
I like Jerryâs channel too, guyâs a legend
When Jerry was youngerâŚhe did 12 shots from a REVOLVERâŚmeaning a reload after the first 6 roundsâŚ
In 2.98 Seconds!
And every shot hit the metal target he was shooting at.
Never seen anything like it.
Record is 2.99 if Iâm not mistaken.
I saw the footage⌠crazy fast hands.
EDIT: Here it is
While youâre here @Johnrr6, have you ever shot a Barrett .50 ?
In how much pain from recoil is this guy now ?
Would you need a lot of points in the Brawn tree to pull that off ?
Donât forget Hickock45!
Sorry, yâall⌠Leave it to me to turn this into a gun thread. Haha.
No Moxxi on the left hand side? PFFT, low survivability.
7/10.
Iâm surprised I was the first one to make that joke
Hickock45 is good, I like some of his gun review videos.
But Jerry is in a league all his ownâŚ
Doesnât matter the weapon, Jerry picks it up and can immediately outshoot anyone.
His wife is a superb female marksman and his daughter is already winning competitions around the world.
There is a clip of Jerry shooting an old WWII Garand M-1 Rifle. He engages the targets so quickly it is amazing and from an 8 shot clip which he empties in less than two seconds, he missesâŚNOT ONCE!
I have shot many a Garand and am not bad with itâŚbut JerryâŚOH MY!
and @Chuck80 âŚit kicks like a muleâŚbut is tremendously sensitive for such a large caliber . Takes a skilled marksman to learn to use it correctly. I shot 5 Rounds from oneâŚnot for meâŚ
Weapons I loved over the years: (I know this dates me a bit)
M1911 Colt .45
M-1 (was almost completely out of the inventory when I came in)
M-14
M-16A2 (FINALLY got it rightâŚfirst versions wereâŚwellâŚnot good)
Thompson SMG (heavy as hell but in a trenchline or close upâŚWOWâŚand I never used one operationally, just had fun checking them out from time to time )
M-60 Machinegun
M-79 Grenade Launcher (The ThumperâŚmy all time favorite heavy/support weaponâŚI got so I could put a grenade in or very close to a 55 gallon drum at 400 yards)
Sig P226
Walther PPQ
Colt 1911 Rail Gun (Also known as the new Marine Close Quarters Battle Pistol, CQBP)
Browning Cynergy Over and Under Skeet Shotgun 12.Ga
EDIT: BL2 needs a ThumperâŚBAD! The Bearcat is just sooooooo awful
While all the gun-nuts are in the thread, I have a Borderlands-inspired question: what makes a gun specifically a carbine? Also, is there a technical difference between assault rifle and combat rifle, or is that just manufacturerâs naming conventions?
Carbines are lighter than full size rifles and shoot a smaller, lighter round. Theyâre drawback is that the lighter round doesnât have the penetrating power of a heavier round. For example, the 5.56mm round the M16A2 fires isnât as powerful as the 7.62mm the AK-47 fires, but the former is more accurate and travels faster. Carbines are great for QCQ, but youâd want a full-sized rifle for anything beyond 200 ft or so. @johnrr6 should have more to add since he served in the U.S. Army for a time.
Iâm blown away that people here know who Jerry is.
THAT IS AWESOME!!!

[/quote]To expand on this more, barrel length determines whether a rifle is categorized as a carbine as well. Most carbines will have short barrels and itâs not uncommon to see them with bullpup actions and folding/collapsible stocks.
I love this thread! And @johnrr6, thank you for your service. I appreciate it.
Yep. The M4 is a carbine version of the M16 A2 and was developed for urban combat where the longer AR could get in the way when shooting in houses and narrow streets.
