I’ve just bought the PC version of BL2 to see if it will actually run on my PC and was wondering if there’s any way I can transfer my PS3 characters over to the PC version. If not I’m all good with that, just means playing through the game a load more times…something I really don’t mind doing. But if I can transfer my characters it’d save a lot of time.
I thought that may be the case, it’s probably a good thing tbh, I’m not used to playing games on the PC and getting used to the controls is going to take me a while, lol. Already been taken out by knuckle dragger twice because I kept losing the movement keys, lol
I am liking how quick loading is compared to the PS3 though.
IIRC, you should be able to use one of those Xbox 360 / Xbox One controllers specifically designed for us with a PC, to play Borderlands if you don’t want to have to get used to a Keyboard + Mouse.
Unfortunately this violates the consoles ToS as third party software is not allowed to be used on them, even if it’s just to move it to another platform.
@chachava - Welcome to PC gaming OT but if you are having trouble with “WASD” here’s something that might help. In the early days of PC FPSs, WASD wasn’t a standard. Some games put “Forward” on the right mouse button. I’ve stuck with this over the years (I’ve been gaming a loooong time!) and I know others who use it, as well. It might help if you find yourself tripping over that tight grouping of keys. Give it a go, you can always revert back.
In any case, I hope you get used to the mouse. It is a great way to play shooters. Have fun
Thanks for the reply, I’ll give it a go. Am I right in thinking you then bind the Aim/Secondary fire for Sal to the up key? or do you bind that elsewhere?
I’m slowly getting the hang of the controls, and aiming is definitely a lot easier and accurate with a mouse.
