Alright, this is going to be kinda long, I hope you don’t mind.
Today I saw a post (“The last patch”, is it?) stating what needs to get fixed, on the list something caught my attention “Money Shot (the skill’s description doesn’t adequately describe the involved mechanics)”.
So I digged about it and found out that the listed damage bonus is lower than the real one (according to wikia) eg: at rank 11 the listed max dmg is 800% while in this wikia article says it is 1056% http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Money_Shot
It seems to happen because the game only shows you the bonus with a minimum magazine size of 10 for the maximum bonus instead of 12 (apparently 12 is the actual minima) therefore each point you add to this skill will give you 8% extra damage for bullet with a limit of 12. For example at rank 11: Mag size 1= 96%
mag size 10=960% (this is the one that the game shows you), mag size 12+=1056%.
This being said I proceeded to do some testing on my cheated account because I wanted to make sure that I got it right
I used 3 different weapons, a hacked bar, and the dummy
All the examples were on OP0 with 11 points in money shot, a cheated BAR was used on some of them
Example #1

According to the formula (kind of) explained above the money shot should have been 8986k but it was fine 9848k
wich means that this money shot dealt around 1157% instead of 1056% (851k x 0,01 x 1157 = 8986k)
Now let’s try it out with the hacked bar

So, I got to the following conclusions, the wikia page is WRONG the 1056% never seems to be the number, it is always higher, I suspect that the higher the base damage of your gun is the higher the percent of bonus you will get is (I could be wrong tho).
