People on Steam have complained about how little she adds to the story. Later on, in the Holodome, Gaige and Axton say they found Aurelia on Eptah, wherever that is. Since Aurelia was released only a month after her mention in holodome, is it likely she was never truly on Elpis, but just stuck into the story to have an ice queen to show off the new element?

Holodome dialouge takes place way after the initial TPS story, perhaps a year or two (Athena was captured midway through Tftb). That would be plenty of time for Aurelia to move on to other planets. Heck, Athena moved to Pandora in about of few months time.

The holodome dlc was a travesty in itself. You shouldn’t have had to pay for a level upgrade a circle of slaughter with limited dialog.

As much as I love these games, the story has never been their strong suit, especially with a DLC character.

Welp… Let’s consider that axton and gaige picked up the lady some time after the interrogation which happened X time after bl2 ( I say X because the expanse of time between games isn’t 100% locked down iirc) which happened Y time after the events of TPS.
So her mention in the holodome dialogue says absolutely nothing about her whereabouts during the events of TPS. It’s entirely feasible that Jack hired her like every other vh.

I like when the game focus is on the combat and. The story is there If you look for it . My main complaint about gears of war is you would be fighting an awesome battle then the phone would ring and you could not shoot, jump, and walked so slow. Halo 1 had great combat and a story of you looked for it. Want to play again just thinking about halo 1. Borderlands 2 did this by hidding echo logs. love it.
